This cheap house for long term rentals is located in the beautiful Brenne region of France, an area of outstanding natural beauty, situated just below the Loire Valley in Central France. The village of Chéniers is a small village loacted close to the beautiful town of Saint-Benoît-du-Sault, officially classified as one of the Most Beautiful villages in France.
The house is set on one acre of land, near the centre of the village. The house comes with 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a lounge and kitchen. The house is available for long term rentals for 6-12 months from €600 per month + bills.

The house is laid on 2 floors. Inside the house, the decoration is a very tired, but it is functional. The Owner who lives in New Zealand is looking to rent out the property to fund the refurbishment. There could be a possibility for practical tenants with DIY skills, to exchange labour for rent
Ground floor
- You enter into the lounge, which comes with a sofa and two armchairs. The lounge provides access to Bedroom 1 and the kitchen.
- The kitchen comes with a large coal-fired range cooker, which also provides heating for the house. There is also a gas oven with integrated hob. There is also a large fridge and plenty of storage cupboards. In the centre of the kitchen there is a small table and 4 chairs.
- Bedroom 1 comes with a double bed, large wardrobe and chest of drawers. The bedroom is heated by an electric radiator.
- Bedroom 2 comes with a single bed.
- The bathroom is located just off the kitchen and is fitted with a shower cubicle, wash basin and WC
First floor
- Bedroom 3 is a large bedroom with double bed and 2 large wardrobes. The bedroom is heated by an electric radiator.
Outside
- The house comes with approximately 1 acre of land.
- There are 2 barns which can be used for storage. Next to the house there is a small barn with a large door and in the garden there is a large open barn which can be also used for storage or parking cars.

This cheap house in Central France can be rented for 6-12 months. The house is conveniently located for reaching Poitiers and Limoges and is located within an area of outstanding natural beauty. The local village is very quiet and peaceful. The Indre department and the neighbouring Creuse departments, have the lowest property prices in France and this house would be a cost-effective base if you are property hunting or looking for somewhere to stay during renovations. The barns that come with the house can be used for storage. The Owner is open to tenants who are willing to undertake decorating and DIY improvements on the house in exchange for rent reductions.

Chéniers, Indre, should not be confused with the village of the same name just 60km away in the Creuse department (Chéniers 23220, Creuse department). Chéniers is a common village name in France and it refers to a village formed on a clearing in an oak forest.
Indre is a department in central France which is part of the region of Centre-Val de Loire region. It is a relatively small department located on the undulating plains of the Loire Valley, just 100km from top to bottom and 90km wide. The department is home to just over 220,000 people, making it one of the least densley populated department's in France. The capital and largest town in the department is Châteauroux, which is 40 mins drive away. The economy is mostly agricultural. In recent years, Indre has attracted many international home-buyers, attracted by the cheaper house prices and the quiet French rural lifestyle.
Locally, there are many beautiful Chateaux, including Château de Valençay, Château de Bouges and Château Raoul, as well as the famous Château de Amboise and Château de Chambord.

Loches is close famous small town boasting beautiful old medieval centre and a weekly market.
The city of Tours is the capital of the Loire Valley and contains a good range of shopping, cultural and medical facilities.

Throughout the year, there are daily flights to Limoges airport from London Stansted and 3 flights a week to Manchester airport.
During the summer, ther are 3 flights a week from Bristol airport (June to August); 3 flights a week from East Midlands airport (March to September); 3 flights a week from Leeds-Bradford airport (June to september); and 4 flights a week from London Gatwick (end of June to September).
