The Chateau de Lavail comprises over 1,000m2 of living space and is spread out over 3 floors arranged around the central staircase.

Ground floor

• The impressive entrance hall features marble walls and original patterned tiles on the floor.
• There is a fully-equipped kitchen which comes with a central island, oven, hob, large American fridge-freezer, Espresso machine, dishwasher, and plenty of cooking utensils. The Chateau comes with plenty of crockery and cutlery for 22 guests.
• There is a sitting room featuring baroque furniture.
• The impressive dining room can accommodate 10-12 people
• The large living room doubles as a cinema room and features a super-size sofa, dining table and bar. The living room provides access to the pool, terrace and garden. 
• There is a beautiful Bedroom on the ground floor, which comes with a private sitting room, large double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower, bath, double sinks and WC. 

First floor

There are 4 bedrooms and a home office on this floor

• Bedroom 2 contains a beautiful four-poster bed, a stunning bathroom with circular bath, walk-in shower, double wash basins and WC. Next to the bedroom there is a private sitting room with circular sofa.
• Bedroom 3 is an enormous private suite. It features a beautiful double bed, a luxury en-suite shower room and a very spacious TV lounge.
• Bedroom 4 is also a suite, containing a stylish sitting room, large double bed and en-suite bathroom with dressing area.
• Bedroom 5 is fitted with a double bed.
• The home office is located in the original library of the chateau and has lovely views out over the garden. The office is equipped with a good internet connection.

Second floor

• Bedroom 6 contains 2 single beds, which can be joined together to form a king-size double bed.
• Bedroom 7 is a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom (shower, washbasin, toilet).
• Bedroom 8 is fitted with a king-size double bed (which can also be separated to form two twin beds). There is an en-suite bathroom with bath, shower, washbasin and toilet.
• Bedroom 9 is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom (bath, shower, wash basin and toilet).
• Bedroom 10 comes with a double bed.

Outside: there is a beautiful swimming pool with sun terrace and garden. There is a shaded seating area underneath a 300 year old Japanese maple tree. There is an outdoor bar, a summer kitchen and an Orangerie (which can be used for training events, wedding ceremonies, etc). Next to the house there is a professionally equipped fitness centre located in a barn which housed the original wine presses and wine vats. There is a sauna, Turkish bath and massage table. 

Within the 6 hectare of grounds there are 2 separate stables and a riding paddock. There is plenty of parking.

Chateau de Lavail is available for long term rentals from 1 month to 2-3 years. Prices will vary according to the length of stay, the season and whether it is to be rented as a private residence or for a commercial purpose.
