This 1 bedroom apartment is located in the heart of Beziers, an historic Southern French town, close to Montpellier, Narbonne and Carcassonne, as well as the Mediterranean beaches. The apartment is ideally located, close to all the amenities - shops, bars and restaurants – it is also just a few minutes’ walk down to the new Polygone shopping centre. The train station is only 400 meters away, while the main bus station is 600 meters away. The apartment is available for long term rentals of 3-12 months from €600 pcm.

The apartment overlooks the beautiful Parc Des Poetes in the centre of Beziers. The apartment is located on the third floor of a period apartment building.
- The open plan living room is spacious and light. There is cable TV with around 800 channels including National Geographic, CNN, and BBC News. There is also high-speed WIFI internet. The leather couch can be converted to a fold-out bed. There is a bookcase with a large collection of paperback novels and tourist information.
- The dining table can seat 4-6 people.
- The kitchen is located off the living room and provides pleasant views over the park. The kitchen has a large fridge-freezer, dishwasher, electric oven and hob, microwave and plenty of storage space. The apartment is equipped with a good range of cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery.
- The double bedroom comes with an en-suite bathroom. The bedroom is located at the rear of the building and comes with double glazing and is very quiet. There is a large fitted wardrobe, with sliding doors. The bed is 160cm x 200cm and the comfortable mattress is topped with 7 cm of memory foam. Next to the bed there is a bedside cabinet with a reading lamp. The ceiling fan is powerful and quiet.
- The bathroom comes with a full bath and overhead shower. The bathroom also contains the washing machine. There is also a storage closet in the bathroom and there are lovely views out over the rooftops towards the cathedral (with the Pyrenees in the distance).

This apartment for long term rentals in the South of France is located in Beziers, a town of over 70,000 inhabitants. There is much to do in Beziers, strolling along the beautiful alleys of the Old Town and shopping in the small shops. Visit one of the many restaurants, go to the theater or visit Friday´s flower market or Saturday´s antique market. During the summer, the city is buzzing with activities with various festivals and music events.
The Mediterranean coast is a short drive or bus journey away and offers fantastic beaches, ranging from wild beaches in Serignan and Vendres to chic promenades in Grau d´Agde and Valras plage.
Beziers, is the capital of the World´s largest wine regions and most of the local wineries are open to visitors and you can try their wines. A tour of the region´s villages is also recommended. Pezenas which is a fantastic little town with a rich cultural life inspired by Moliere, has a large market every Saturday and a food & wine festival every Friday night during July and August. Pezenas has over 60 antique shops and over 30 restaurants.
Agde is one of France´s oldest cities and lies at the river Herault´s outflow. The town has some nice restaurants and beautiful beaches. Cap Agde has the Mediterranean´s largest marina and there is plenty of activities from water sports to amusement parks and an excellent golf course.
Canal du Midi - The Canal du Midi passes alongside Beziers, just beside the railway station. A couple of the most interesting features of the Canal are located here as well, in the area just past the station. Canal River Bridge - The canal crosses over the Orb river in what is billed as a world´s first. This "bridge" that carries the Canal du Midi over the top of the river was built in 1858, one of the many engineering marvels along the Canal´s 400 km length. Fonseranes Locks - Of the 63 locks of the Canal du Midi, the 9 closely-grouped Fonseranes locks are among the most famous, and probably the most picturesque.

There is a fast TGV train from Paris direct to Beziers, that takes about 4 hours.
Airports
Beziers is very easy to get to, direct flights with Ryanair from Bristol, Edinburgh, London Luton, Stansted, Manchester and Stockholm (Skavsta). Montpellier Airport is 35 kilometers away and has several routes to Sweden and Copenhagen with Norwiegan Air and to the UK with Easyjet (Bristol, Gatwick and Luton).
Driving directions
Beziers is well connected to the local motorway netwrok, with both the A75 and A9 motorways joining just west of the town.
