This lovely beach villa for long term rent is located close to the coast in Argeles sur Mer, South France. The house has a garden, pool and provides comfortable accommodation for up to 6 people. There are 3 double bedrooms, a spacious living room, WiFi, central heating and lovely views over the town and to the hills behind. Argeles-sur-mer has 7km of beach and a harbour and a host of restaurants and shops. Perpignan is 20kms to the North and the Spanish border is 25 kms to the South.
The property is available for long term rentals from September to June with prices ranging from €1,000 to €1,650 per month + bills.

Ground floor:
- There is a fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer. Next to the kitchen there is small kitchen table with chairs.
- There is a bright and spacious lounge which comes with 3 sofas, a large Flat screen TV, a coffee table and working fireplace. Large patio doors lead out from the lounge to the garden and pool area.
- Also on the ground floor there is a bathroom which contains a bath, hand basin and toilet.
First floor:
- There are three double bedrooms. Two of the double bedrooms have French windows which lead out onto a small balcony overlooking the garden.
- The family bathroom has been completely refurbished and now houses a walk-in shower, wash basin and toilet. There is also a separate toilet on this floor.
Outside: there is a nice sized garden with mature trees and a lawn. There is a barbecue grill in the garden. There is a shaded terrace which has a tiled patio table and chairs. The garden also contains a private swimming pool (unheated). At the front of the house there is a small driveway which leads to the garage. Whilst the garage could store a car, it is mainly used for storage.

Area activities
This villa for long term rent in France is located close to the coast in Argeles sur Mer. Argeles has some of the best beaches in the South of France, with 7 kms of coastline and 3 kms of small coves. The resort that has been granted the blue flag award for its beaches and harbour. It has two nature reserves: Mas Larrieu nature reserve by the sea and La Massane forest in the heart of the Albères. Argelès-sur-Mer itself is A typical village, with a warren of its narrow streets, colourful buildings and a lovely 14th century Church. The town is just 20 kilometres from Perpignan. There is a local train station with services to Perpignan and down the coast to Collioure and Port Vendres. At the back of the house, there are a number of paths which take you up into the mountains

There is a local train station in Argeles-sur-Mer (quite near the house) which provides local trains to Collioure and up to Perpignan. From Perpignan you can access the mainline TGV trains to Paris, Barcelona, Montpellier, Toulouse, etc.

Perfect
The house is a very short walk from the train station so is suitable for those without a car. It is a five minute train journey to Collioure and around 1/2 hour walk to Argeles-sur-mer beaches (bus available too). Good Carrefour supermarket and bakeries at the local shops. We really enjoyed staying in the house. It has a large kitchen and dining table. The living room is very large with 3 sofas and opens onto the back garden. There is a study room and plenty of bathrooms/toilets. There were 6 adults staying and it still felt very roomy. The pool area is very relaxing with lots of sun loungers and lovely for a dip to cool down.Overall one of the very nicest properties I`ve stayed in - furnished to a high standard and very clean. I`d thoroughly recommend it. The kitchen was well stocked with everyday essentials, e.g. dishwasher tablets, spices, foil, kitchen roll, etc. Plenty of pans, plates, glasses and utensils. The owners were very helpful and friendly, and there was milk, cheese, bread, cold meats, tea bags and a bottle of wine on arrival.

superb house
The location is quiet and peaceful; the facilities are second to none. We had two 19 year olds and a younger child; all found plenty to occupy them. We particularly recommend the canyoning park. We did a day trip to Spain that was really worthwhile. A beautiful part of the country. It is a real family home with an attention to detail.

Superb Villa in Argeles Sur Mer
A perfect location - The house is a 5 minute walk to the village and the shops in one direction and minutes away from lovely countryside in the other. The beach is about 20 minutes walk away. It is all very flat and easily accessible on foot or by bike. There are cycle lanes everywhere and the house is located near the EV8 cycle route. There is plenty of parking and the location is very quiet at the end of a cul-de-sac. Facilities - The house is brilliantly equipped and furnished to high standard. There is everything you could possible need for a fantastic holiday or longer stay. The garden, barbecue and pool are all excellent for lounging around fully equipped with high quality outdoor furniture, sun beds etc. The house is a great size and the rooms are all spacious and comfortable. There is an air conditioning and heating unit that works throughout the house. The bathrooms have been recently renovated and have been done to a very high standard. We had a wonderful welcome and the owners were extremely helpful and friendly. Overall the house was a wonderful start to a life in France and we couldn`t have asked for a better place to stay while we were looking for a house of our own. We would highly recommend it, either for a holiday or a longer stay.
One month deposit to be paid at time of reservation (this will become the security deposit for your stay). Rent to be paid in advance on the first day of the month (for rentals of 3 months or less, the rent is to be paid in full prior to arrival). The utility bills are to be paid in addition to the monthly rent. There is a monthly provision of €200 towards the utility bills. References may be required. Minimum stay is normally 3 months.
