This beautiful Chateau is available for long term rentals from €2500 per month + bills. This former hunting lodge dates back to the early 1800´s and is located 20 mins from Cannes and 45 mins to Nice airport. The local Provence countryside contains many medieval hilltop villages such as Tourrettes, Fayence, Seillans and Callian. The Chateau is within walking distance of a good junior school and 5 minutes drive to the famed Four Seasons golf course. Surrounding the Chateau there are vineyards, Cedar forests and beautiful views. The Chateau is convenient for exploring Provence, as well as reahing the French Riviera coast.

You access the Chateau along the long driveway, lined with 200 year old Lebanese Cedar trees.
The Chateau is laid out over 4 floors. The main living room has Italian frescoes on the ceiling and is furnished with antique pieces and modern furniture. There is a very efficient wood burning stove that heats the whole house.
There are 5 generously-sized bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
The modern kitchen comes with a generously sized Godin gas stove and has plenty of cooking utensils, plates, glasses and cutlery.
Outside:
- There is a large private swimming pool (15 x 5 metres)
- The renovated old stone stable in the garden was most recently used by a British artist.
- Parkland grounds featuring a lawn, mature trees and excellent views of Fayence and Tourrettes castle

This Petit Chateau in Provence-Cote d´Azur can be rented on a monthly basis from €2500 per month + utility bills. Normally, the Chateau is available for rentals between October to June, but annual rentals will be considered. Higher prices will apply over the summer period.

Last visited October 2020. This beautiful former hunting lodge is located in a beautiful corner of Cote d'Azur - away from the crowds on the coast yet within easy driving distance. The local villages of Fayence and Tourettes are lovely places to walk around and have all the facilities that you will need.

The prices quoted are based on a 6 month rental period. Higher prices may apply to rentals over the summer period and for shorter rentals.
Utility bills and communal taxes are payable in addition to the rent.

Area activities
The property is surrounded by vineyards, hilltop villages and a selection of first class golf courses like the famous Terre Blanche golf complex. The Chateaus is 10 mins to a lake, less than half an hour to the wonderful Theoule sur Mer sandy beach and 35 mins to the nearest ski slope. The parkland grounds of the property have excellent views towards Fayence and Tourrettes castle – with lovely restaurants (some with Michelin mention), bars and fete’s in walking distance.
Nearby you can go gliding, paragliding, horse riding, fishing, wind surfing, pedallo’s, trekking, hilltop cycling, etc, only minutes away.
You have easy access to both the mountains, the vineyards and the Riviera. A definite experience.

There is a TGV train station located at Nice.

The nearest airport to Tourrettes is located at Nice (50 mins). Alternative local airports include Toulon (1 hour 30 mins) and Marseille (1 hour 45 mins).
Driving directions
The village of Tourrettes is located 40 mins drive from Cannes. The village provides easy access to the A8 motorway via the D37 and D562 main roads.

Deposit of 2 months rent to be paid at time of reservation (this will become the security deposit during your stay). Rent to be paid monthly in advance on the 1st day of each month. There is a provision of €450 per month towards the utility bills (electricity, water and internet). Firewood to be purchased separately.
