Belarga is located in the Herault department in Southern France, close to the popular towns of Pezenas, Beziers and Montpellier. Belarga is well connected to the local transport routes and it provides easy access to the A75 motorway. The airports at Montpellier and Beziers are both 30 mins drive and you also have a number of TGV train stations within easy reach.

This house in Belarga is located on a quiet pedestrian street in the heart of the village. The house is laid out over 3 floors.
- On the ground floor there is a beautiful old cave, with curved stone ceiling. This room can be used as a home office, sitting room or storage space.
- On the first floor you have the main living room. This contains a kitchen, dining area and lounge.
- The kitchen is equipped with an oven, hob, washing machine, toaster, kettle and plenty of cooking utensils, plates, cups, etc. The dining table can seat 4-6 people.
- There is a comfortable sofa in the lounge, with coffee table, flat screen TV and WiFi.
- On the second floor, there is a lovely double bedroom with exposed beams and original stonework. Next to the bedrooms there is an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, wash basin and toilet.
- Outside: just behind the house there is a lovely quiet square where you can sit out and watch the world go by. The river Herault is just a 2 min walk from the house and during the summer it is a popular place for swimming

Last visited: June 2021. This is the perfect long term rental property in Southern France for a couple or single person. Inside the house has been furnished to a high standard and provides very comfortable living. The stairs are steep, but manageable. The house also benefits from a storage space/office on the ground floor.

This 1 bed house for long term rentals in France is situated in the centre of the medieval village of Bélarga. Belarga is a sleepy old wine-making village located on the banks of the River Herault. The village comes with a local shop-cum-cafe, a primary school, post office and numerous sporting and social clubs. During the week a Butcher´s van sets up in the central square of the village every Wednesday, a Pizza van every Thursday and a mobile grocery store every Friday.
The next village of Paulhan has a supermarket, pharmacy, medical services and numerous restaurants.
There are a number of interesting places to visit close-by. The beautiful town of Pezenas is always a delight to visit, no matter what time of year. The dynamic city of Montpellier is always a great day out and features many cultural activities. On the coast, you have the beautiful harbour towns of Sete, Meze and Marseillan. You have your choice of Mediterranean beaches to visit and plenty of local markets selling fresh regional products.

There is a TGV train station in Montpellier. A local bus service runs from the nearby town of Montagnac to Montpellier.
