La Belle Vue villa is a spacious 4 bedroom long term rentals property in South France. The villa comes with beautiful views over the surrounding countryside, air conditioning throughout and private parking for several cars. The villa is located on the outskirts of the popular village of Magalas, just 15 mins from Beziers and the Mediterranean coast.
Available for long term rentals between October and March from €1500 per month + bills. Pets may be accepted with the prior approval of the Owner. Not available April to September.
South France holiday rental with pool - facilities
The house is laid out over 2 floors. The house has been lovingly restored over the last few years to guarantee maximum comfort.
First floor
- The beautiful large open plan living room comes with a sleek kitchen, dining area, sitting room and TV lounge. The living room has stunning views over the local countryside from the picture windows.
- The kitchen is fully equipped with a large integrated Fridge and a full height freezer, a Miele oven, Microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine and induction hob. There is plenty of storage space and lots of cooking utensils, cutlery, plates and glasses
- The dining area can comfortably seat 8-10 people.
- The sitting room features 2 sofas, 3 armchairs and a coffee table. Patio doors lead out onto the large covered terrace
- There is a TV lounge with Flat screen TV with international channels. The 3 picture windows provide amazing views.
- The large terrace overlooks the pool and has a couple of tables and chairs for outdoor dining or relaxing with a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening
- There is a separate WC on this floor also.
- There is a home office/studio space
Lower ground Floor
- The Master bedroom comes with a large King size bed, an en suite shower room and a large dressing room. Patio doors provide direct access to the pool and garden
- Bedroom 2 has a king size double bed and comes with an en suite bathroom
- Bedroom 3 comes with 2 single beds (which can be joined to form a King size double bed). The beds are extra long to accommodate guest up to 2m tall.
- Bedroom 4 is fitted with 2 single beds (which can be joined to form a King size double bed). The beds are extra long to accommodate guest up to 2m tall
- On this floor there is a good sized family bathroom with walk-in shower, wash basin and WC.
- There is a laundry room with a washing machine and a tumble dryer
- There is a separate toilet.
Outside
- The 10m x 6m private swimming pool is a perfect place to cool down after a day of adventure.
- The house is situated on a large plot (1600m2) with plenty of seating areas to relax and enjoy the summer sun.
- The well equipped summer kitchen next to the pool is fully equipped with a large fridge, oven, sink and dishwasher, there is also a large Gas BBQ.
- The house has off-road parking for several cars
- There are 2 bikes available for guests
Long term rentals South France - prices
Prices are monthly and do not include utilities (monthly provision of €300 towards the utility bills and communal taxes). Minimum rental period of 3 months. Price will depend on season and length of stay. All guests are required to be covered by travel insurance/Tenants Insurance.

Villa La Belle Vue long term rentals South France - Our Opinion
Last visited June2022. A lovely big long term rental property for a family or a couple with frequent guests. With a good size garden, WiFi, air conditioning and set in a quiet location on the edge of the village, this is the ideal spot for a relaxing few months in the South of France.
Magalas is a great location - ideal for visiting the beach and also touring the local vineyards. There is one of the best restaurants in the area located in the centre of the village, just walking distance away.

Area activities
The Languedoc is one of the most fascinating areas of Europe, bordering the Mediterranean Sea to the east and the Pyrenees Mountains to the south. It benefits from an exceptional climate and has an unusually rich wildlife, a spectacular coast, and surprising history. Things to see include mountains, rivers and lakes, ancient cities, and villages, cathedrals, and castles, notably the famous mountain fortresses popularly known as Cathar Castles.
There are many different activities from sporting to cultural in the Languedoc region. Sports include a wide range of land sports, water sports, air sports, mountain sports, winter sports, golf, hunting, shooting, hawking, and fishing. There are also numerous cultural activities, along with French regional food specialties, and Languedoc wines. The Canal du Midi is a lovely shaded haven for walking and visiting many pretty villages, or just watching the boats go by.
Beziers is a bustling market town, with views over the River Orb from its impressive cathedral. Its ´Feria´ in August is a celebration of music, food and culture. Its splendid old market hall is a haven for those who want to sample the best of local produce, and in the nearby old town restaurants and cafes line the pavements.
Magalas is a thriving wine-growing village. There is a market in the town square every Wednesday, and live music many weekends during the summer. Magalas has three restaurants, two cafes, a small supermarket in its centre and a large one on the outskirts, plus doctors, dentist, hairdressers, pharmacy and other facilities. The wonderful medieval church, and its internationally renowned acoustics plays host to many classical concerts. The river Orb provides wonderful swimming only ten minutes away, as well as canoeing at nearby picturesque Roquebrun.
Other transport
Magalas has its own railway station, located at the end of the road. The station has a number of daily train services to Beziers train station, which has TGV connections to Paris and Barcelona.

To reach this South of France long term rentals property, take the A75 or A9 south through France until you reach Beziers. Then follow the D909 from Beziers straight into Magalas.
One month's security deposit to be paid at time of reservation. Rent to be paid at the start of each month. Available for long term rentals between October to March. Minimum stay is 3 months. Utility bills to be paid in addition to the monthly rent (€300 monthly provision towards the electricity, water and internet). References maybe required. Pets restricted to 2 medium size dogs.
