Le Jardin is a 1 bedroom apartment for long term rentals in the lovely village of St Pons de Mauchiens in South France. St Pons is a wine-making village, located in the heart of the Languedoc region.
This lovely apartment is located on the ground floor of the Owner's house and has it's own private entrance. Guests are able to enjoy the Owner's garden and pool.
The apartment is available for long term rentals between October to April from €600 per month + bills.

The apartment is located on the ground floor of the Owner's property, situated in the centre of the village. The apartment has it's own private entrance.
- You enter into a communal reception room, which contains a small laundry room with washing machine and dryer, as well as a cupboard for storage.
- The open plan living room contains the lounge, dining area and kitchen. The living room comes with a beautiful travertine tiled floor, exposed stone walls and original beams.
- The kitchen comes equipped with an oven and hob, fridge, kettle and coffee-maker. The apartment comes with a good selection of cutlery, crockery, glasses and cooking utensils.
- The lounge is set around a stone fireplace and comes with a 2 seater sofa, 2 armchairs and a small flat screen TV (with Chrome dongle for accessing internet channels).
- There is a round dining table with seating for up to 4 people.
- Just off the living room, there is a lovely tiled bathroom with walk-in shower, hand basin and toilet.
- Steps lead up to the bedroom which comes with a large double bed, small sofa wardrobe and bedside tables. French windows lead out onto a private balcony - the perfect place for enjoying a morning cup of coffee in the sunshine.
The apartment comes with reversible air conditioning in the bedroom and living room, which provides heating over the winter period.
Outside
- There is a beautiful enclosed garden with mature palm trees, Mediterranean shrubs and ferns. There are plenty of seating areas (both shaded and in the sun).
- The swimming pool is 9m x 3m and is surrounded by a travertine tiled sun deck.

This 1 bed apartment is available for long term rentals between October to April. The monthly rental price is based on a 6 month rental period and does not include the utility bills (there is a monthly provision of €100 towards the electricity, water and WiFi).
Please note that the apartment is not suitable for pets.

Last visited: March 2022. If you are visiting France on a house-hunting trip or just looking to enjoy a few months of winter sun in South France, then Le Jardin apartment is the perfect rental. Inside the apartment is finished to a high standard. The apartment would ideally suit a single person or a couple. You will require a car during your stay and there is free public parking just 50m from the apartment.
Please note that the apartment is not available for monthly rentals over the summer months. The garden and pool are shared with the Owner.

Area activities
This 1 bed apartment for long term rentals is located in the heart of the Languedoc region in South France. The Mediterranean coast is 15-20 mins away and there are several lovely port towns and beaches nearby, including Bouzigues, the oyster centre of the region. The Herault river is 5 mins away, and the medieval town of Pezenas is a 10 minute drive. Pezenas has a great market, as does Gignac, 15 mins to the north.
Built up on a rocky spur, St Pons de Mauchiens has a circular pattern of streets in the centre - known as "Circulade" - which revolve around the church.
Other transport
There are TGV train stations in the nearby towns of Montpellier, Agde and Beziers. A regular bus service runs from Montpellier to Pezenas, (stopping in the nearby village of Montagnac).
