Les Gigales is a 4 bed villa in South France for long term rentals. The villa is located in the picturesque village of Aumes, close to the historic town of Pezenas. The Mediterranean beaches are just a short drive away.
The villa comes with 4 bedrooms, large enclosed garden and private pool. There is parking for several cars.
Available for long term rentals between October to June from €1200 per month + bills. 12 month rentals may be available (enquire about price). Pets accepted by prior arrangement. Minimum stay is 3 months.

Les Cigales is located in a quiet residential area of the village and within a couple of minutes walk you can be out within the vineyards. The house comprises approximately 110 m² of living space on two levels and comes with a large fireplace and modern electric radiators.
Ground floor
- Large living room with comfortable sofa and arm chairs, book cases and a Flat screen TV. There is a large wood burner which is very efficient. The living room provides access out to the garden and terrace.
- There is a sunny and bright dining room with a dining table which can seat 6-8 people.
- The large well-equipped Kitchen comes with an oven, large fridge-freezer, dishwasher and plenty of plates, cutlery and cooking utensils.
- Bedroom 1 comes with a double bed and fitted wardrobe
- There is a bathroom with a large walk-in shower, wash basin and toilet
- Bedroom 2 contains a set of bunk beds.
- Bedroom 3 has a small bed (ideal for a child)
First floor
- The large Master bedroom comes with a double bed and a small dressing room

Pet friendly long term rental house South France - prices
Les Cigales is available for long term rentals between October to June. The rental price does not include the monthly utility bills (there is a monthly provision of €250 towards the electricity, water, Wi-Fi and communal taxes). Minimum stay is 3 months. Pets accepted through prior agreement.
A 12 month rental may be possible, although the villa does rent for €2000 per week in July and August and it is usually booked for at least 8 weeks. So the monthly rental price will be higher to take account of the summer income.

Les Cigales villa for long term rentals South France - Our Opinion
Last visited October 2022. This is a great villa to rent long term in the South France. This pet-friendly rental provides a large enclosed garden and within a couple of minutes you can be out walking your dog within the vineyards. The local beaches are 10 mins away (on the Etang de Thau) and the long sandy beaches of the Mediterranean are 20 mins drive. The local town of Pezenas is just down the road and this provides all the facilities, restaurants and shops that you will need.

The rental is for the entire property. The prices quoted are based on a 6 month rental period. Higher prices may apply to rentals over the summer period and for shorter rentals. Utility bills and communal taxes are payable in addition to the rent.

Area activities
This villa for long term rentals is located in Aumes, South France, which is a peaceful and pretty village, surrounded by vineyards. If you are looking for accommodation from which you can walk or cycle straight in to the countryside then this is for you! On the other hand, 2 minutes by car takes you to the medieval town of Pézénas with its stretch of cafés, ideal for watching the world go by and the locally renowned Saturday market.
In the village there is also a tennis court, football pitch and play area for small children a short walk away in the centre. In addition there is a ping pong table and public bbq area. Benches are dotted around the village to just sit and take in the village atmosphere. There are lovely walking and cycling paths through vineyards just moments from the house. Bikes are available for various ages, a great way to go to the Saturday Pezenas market via a small lane (approx 15 mins)
The local beach is Meze (10km away) can be followed by a meal in one of the restaurants specialising in seafood, especially the oysters from Bouzigues. The wealth of landscapes here makes for a very varied stay from the coast to the mountains with the rivers, lakes and gorges in between, not forgetting the Canal du midi.
Other transport
There is a TGV train station in Montpellier, Beziers and Agde. A bus service runs from both Agde and Beziers to Pezenas. There is also a frequent local bus service from the nearby town of Montagnac (1.5km) which runs to Montpellier.
