This is an excellent choice for a long term let in Languedoc Roussillon, France. This old village house has been beautifully refurbished to provide comfortable accommodation for up to 6 people. The house comes with 3 bedrooms and a nice sunny roof terrace. The house is located in the centre of the charming medieval village of Laurens, which is situated in the famous Faugeres wine region. The property combines modern amenities with traditional features such as stone walls, original terracotta floors and exposed beams.
Available for long term rentals for up to 12 months from €700 per month + bills.
It is just steps away from the local bakers , butchers, general store, pharmacy, bar, tabac and post office. For the more energetic there is a lovely swimming pool at the local campsite(2kms) and tennis courts and boules in the village. Within 2 minutes walk you will find yourself amidst the vineyards of this famous wine region.

Ground floor :
- Large kitchen-diner with fully equipped kitchen and dining area to seat 8.
- Comfortable lounge with underfloor heating, 2 sofas (which can be converted to double beds,) TV (satellite) DVD, and CD. A selection of board games, backgammon and cards are available.
- Modern shower room with wc and sink.
- Stairs leading to private sunny terrace. Terrace is furnished with 2 sun loungers and table for dining alfresco.
First floor:
- The large master bedroom comes with a king size bed, .
Second floor:
- There is a double bedroom .

Third floor
There is a large twin bedroom with views over the neighbouring countryside.
Outdoors:
There is a private sunny terrace (24m squared) equipped with table and chairs and sun loungers. Ideal spot to enjoy a glass of local wine or sunbathe in complete privacy. There is free parking in village.

The rental rate will depend on length of stay and season. Minimum stay is 3 months. There is a monthly provision of €150 towards the electricity, water, WiFi and communal taxes.

Last visited January 2019. A wonderful, spacious long term let in Languedoc Roussillon, with a private terrace. The charming village of Laurens is the ideal spot whether an extended holiday or you are house hunting.

Area activities
The village of Laurens is located in the centre of the famous Faugeres appellation, this is very much a wine producing area and there is an excellent wine outlet in the village selling a great range of local wines. There is a selection of basic shops, cafe/bar, playground, tennis courts and boules court in the village.
- The swimming pool and restaurant at the local campsite (2kms) are open to the public (July/Aug only) at a small charge and are highly recommended.
- Golf courses can be found at Beziers and Lamalou les Bains (20 mins).
- Chateau Grezan (2kms) ,an ancient fortified chateau from the times of the Knight Templars, is a pleasant stroll or cycle through the vineyards. Here you will find a superb restaurant and the main Faugeres office where you can learn the history of wine production in the region.
- More restaurants (including a pizzeria), cafes, supermarket and bank can be found in Magalas , only 8kms away.
- The pretty town of Pezenas (20minutes) abounds with charm and character, plenty of restaurants and perhaps the best market in the whole of the region (Saturday).
- Within easy reach of the Mediterranean coast (35minutes) and all its attractions, this is an ideal spot for a holiday and for exploring the surrounding area.

There is a TGV train station in the nearby city of Beziers. A local bus service runs from Laurens to Beziers.

Amazing time
Thank you so much for the use of your fantastic house. The house is amazing. All of the family loved it and there is a wonderful calmness about Laurens that makes you forget what day of the week it is. One month deposit to be paid at time of reservation (this will become the security deposit for your stay). Rent to be paid in advance on the first day of the month (for rentals of 3 months or less, the rent is to be paid in full prior to arrival).
The utility bills are to be paid in addition to the monthly rent. There is a monthly provision of €150 towards the utility bills. References may be required. Minimum stay is normally 3 months.
