This lovely village house for long term property rentals in France is located in the picturesque village of Péret in the Languedoc region. The property is modern inside and contains a spacious lounge, well-equipped kitchen and a large en-suite double bedroom. The property also comes with a large garden (40m2) which includes a nice patio table and parasols. The property is south-facing and enjoys warm sunshine throughout the year. The property is located in a quiet area on the edge of the village, but it is still within walking distance to the centre of the village.
Péret is a small, traditional wine-making village, situated between the mountains and the sea, close to Clermont l´Hérault and Pézenas and less than 10 minutes away from the main highway, the A75. This makes it very easy to reach the beaches and to explore the Languedoc region. The owner may accept pets by prior arrangement.

This one bedroom property is available to rent all year around and provides the perfect accommodation for a couple on a house-hunting trip or a long term holiday. The new double sofa bed in the lounge also provides accommodation for guests. Inside, the property provides plenty of space.

- There is an en suite bathroom, with walk-in shower, modern hand basin and toilet.

- French windows lead out from the lounge to the large enclose garden. The garden is mainly laid to gravel, but there is also an area for growing vegetables. The garden also has plenty of pots and tubs for growing plants, flowers and herbs. There are views over towards the surrounding hills.
The property is located within walking distance to the centre of the village, where you will find a very friendly family-run village shop selling fresh bread and pastries, fresh meat, magazines and papers (including English), tobacco and fresh local produce. It is open every morning of the week and five evenings out of seven. The village also contains 2 restaurants (including one run by a former finalist of the French Masterchef programme) and a newly opened tapas bar.
This property shares a gated driveway with the owner´s villa.

The house is available to rent all year around. The house is heated by a wood burning stove and electric wall heaters. Guests are required to purchase the logs for the wood-burning stove.

Last visited March 2018: With an all-inclusive price of €700 per month and available to rent long term all year around, this comfortable property in Peret, South France, represents excellent value for money. The property provides suitable accommodation for a couple, as well as sleeping accommodation for guests. Peret, is surrounded by vineyards and comes with a local shop and a restaurant. There are a lot of activities going on in the village all through the year, including a wine tasting group, gardening society, tennis club, etc. You also have easy access to reach the beaches, as well as Pezenas, Montpellier and the sites of Languedoc.

Péret is a small, traditional wine-making village, situated between Clermont l´Hérault and Pézenas and less than 10 minutes away from the main highway, the A75. It is nestled against the eastern edges of the Black Mountains and as such, has no through traffic, making it very quiet and peaceful. The cottage is situated in a cobbled street in the historic part of the village, near the Mairie. There is also a new restaurant in the village, which is run by a former Masterchef queter-finalist. The menu features local ingredients and changes on a regular basis.
The nearest towns are Clermont l´Hérault 10 mins, medieval town of Pézenas 15 mins. Both have weekly markets selling local produce. Montpellier centre is 50 mins and the beaches (Cap d´Agde) are 40 mins. Lac du Salagou is 15 minutes away. Nearby, there are lots of fabulous and beautiful places to visit (e.g.. Saint Guilhem le Désert, Le Cirque de Navacelles). It is a paradise for lovers of nature and outside sports (hiking, biking, running, sailing, kite-surfing, wind-surfing, canoeing canyoning, climbing etc), as well as for those wanting a more quiet, relaxing and peaceful holiday.
