This beautiful apartment on the edge of Provence, South France, is available for monthly rentals for 3-6 months from €550 per month + bills. The apartment is located on the top floor of a 14th Century stone building situated in the charming village of Saint Maximin. The village is located just 2km from the lovely Provencal town of Uzes and it is very convenient for reaching numerous local attractions such as Nimes, Avignon and the famous Pont du Gard Roman aqueduct.
Saint Maximin is set amongst vineyards and cherry & apricot orchards and the apartment is within 5 minutes walk of a number of local wine cellars. This is a truly beautiful part of the South of France and a great placed to be based for a long term rental.

The apartment has 1 large bedroom fitted with a Queen size double bed, fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers and dressing table.
- The bedroom has a lovely stone fireplace, exposed beams and a cool tile floor.
- The bathroom has a walk-in tiled shower, wash basin and toilet.
- The main living room is a large open plan space that encompasses the kitchen, dining room and sitting area. Dominating the living room is the large fireplace.
- The living room has exposed beams and an original stable door, which leads out to the terrace.
- The kitchen comes with an oven, hob, fridge, dishwasher, kettle and plenty of storage space. The kitchen has plenty of plates, cups and glasses.
- In the centre of the room there is the round dining table with 4 chairs. The sitting area features a comfortable sofa bed.
Outside: there is a lovely terrace which looks down on the courtyard below and comes with views of the hills beyond.

Last visited August 2021. The apartment is very private and has all the modern amenities that you will need for a long stay in South France. The beautiful terrace with views over the countryside is an lovely space to spend time on. With it`s proximity to all the sites of Provence and just 2km from the market town of Uzes, this monthly rentals apartment is ideally situated to explore the local area.

There are many things to see and do around this apartment in South of France. Within easy visiting distance of Provence and local attarctions such as Avignon, Nimes, Aix-en-Provence, St.Remy, Les Baux, Gordes, Roussillon, Menerbes, Lisle-sur-la-Sorgue, Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, Lourmain - and the host of little villages which lie between. The incomparable city of Avignon is 25 minutes away by car, and Pont du Gard, the famous 2000 year old Roman aqueduct is just 5 km away. Uzes, which boasts the best open air market in Provence, held every Saturday, is even closer. Experience the marvels of Provence: sun, blue skies, olive groves, fields of lavender and poppies, ancient stone villages, wonderful wines, food markets, sunflowers, siestas and cicadas.
The village of St Maximin has a restaurant/cafe open daily for dinner and lunch (you must reserve) a supermarket is a 10 minute walk away. You can reserve bread at the cafe for collection in the morning.

Perfect place to relax
This location was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the south of France. From here Avignon and area was only 30 minutes away while and Uzes and the amazing Pont du Gard was only 9 minutes away. We stayed in the second floor apartment with our young family of four. I should note that the pull out bed in the kitchen should not be used by anyone greater than 100 pounds for more than a one night stay. The host is very approachable and helpful to get you set to see the sights or point out the best wine tours. Again this is a fantastic spot we would love to return to in the future! The apartment was well stocked for us to survive our first day before getting our bearings.

Beautiful apartment
We were greeted by Verna and shown the Le Rooftop apartment which was beautiful. There was beer and wine in the fridge and some fruit and bread which was very welcome. The terrace is glorious with great views. The apartment has lovely furnishing and comfortable beds and Verna was on hand for and questions or recommendations. We loved Uzes and the Saturday market and also spent a happy day at the river at Collias. A great stay in a delightful village!
