This apartment is perfectly situated among the ancient medieval streets and is close to all the shops, restaurants and the Saturday market. The apartment is ideal for a couple or single person looking to spend a relaxing few months in the South of France.
This apartment is located on the second floor of an historic town house that dates back to the 15th Century. The house forms a unique bridge over the street (Rue des Litanies) and it is one of the most photographed views of Pezenas.
The apartment is available for monthly rentals from €600 per month + bills (minimum stay is 3 months).

This 1 bedroom apartment is located on the second floor of the town house and is very bright and airy. The apartment has plenty of charm with high ceilings, exposed beams and original stone walls. The apartment has been extensively renovated and comes with a large open plan living room, double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a well-equipped kitchen.
- The fully fitted kitchen includes an oven, hob, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle. There is plenty of cupboard storage and the kitchen has a set of plates, cutler, glasses and cooking utensils.
- The lounge has a double height ceiling with a skylight, which provides plenty of light and a sense of space. The lounge has a large L-shaped sofa, a TV and coffee table. The sofa folds out to form a double sofa bed, perfect for occasional guests.
- The dining area contains a table with seating for 4 people and a corner unit for storage.
- The bedroom contains a King-size double bed, bedside cabinets and large wardrobe. The bedroom comes with electric radiators and an AC unit (reversible).
- The en-suite bathroom contains a walk-in shower, wash basin and WC. The washing machine is also located in the bathroom. The bathroom features the lovely hand-carved stone walls, which date back over 600 years.

Area activities
Pezenas is a historic town with a population of about 8,000 people. It is in the heart of the Languedoc region of the South of France, a vast wine making area. The town has several bakeries and shops within easy walking distance of the house. There is a well stocked Carrefour supermarket for larger shopping expeditions. The Saturday market is nothing short of fabulous and a must for anyone who loves Mediterranean food.
Pezenas´s historical center, has many attractions. Here you will find dozens of artisan crafts shops, little boutiques, restaurants, bars, a cinema, a theatre and many festivals throughout the year. Pezenas is also home to over 40 antique shops.
The Mediterranean coast is just 20 mins drive away and other local attractions include the famous Canal du Midi, the Etang de Thau (a salt water lake that produces the best Oysters and Mussels in France), the famous castle at Carcassonne, ancient cities such as Montpellier, Beziers and Narbonne and numerous beach resorts (Vias Plage, Cap d`Agde and Marseillan Plage). The Languedoc is also home to the largest wine region of France, with some excellent local vineyards where you can sample wine and buy direct from the producer.
Other transport
There is a TGV train station in Beziers and Agde. Regular bus services run from Pezenas to both towns.
