Cottage for long term rentals South France - facilities

The cottage is laid out over 4 floors. There are windows on both sides of the house, allowing plenty of light into the property. The cottage is accessed directly from Square du Monument, a pedestrianised street.

Ground floor

• You enter into the living room which features 2 sofas, an armchair, small table and bookcases. There is a large wood pellet stove which provides the heating for the house.
• The small but functional kitchen contains a dishwasher, oven, stove, fridge and antique preparation table in the centre of the room. The kitchen has French windows which lead out onto the front terrace, with small table and chairs.
• The kitchen leads through an exposed stone archway onto a spacious dining room with Travertine flooring and an antique dining table seating 6-8 people and sideboard.
• There is the bathroom on this floor, with a walk-in shower, WC and wash basin.

First floor

There are 4 bedrooms on this floor and a small bathroom

• Bedroom 1 is located at the front of the house with views out onto the square. The bedroom is very spacious and comes with an antique double bed, large wardrobe and bedside cabinets.
• Bedroom 2 also overlooks the square and has a double bed and storage.
• Bedroom 3 is a large double bedroom with storage. This bedroom is very bright and airy and located at the rear of the property.
• Bedroom 4 is a smaller bedroom with a single bed. This room can also be converted into a home office.
• There is a small bathroom with a wash basin and toilet.

Second floor

In the attic of the house there is the original art studio of Jean Aubagnac.

• There is a large room which can be used as a studio, summer room or storage area. The room is surprisingly light and airy, with a small window and skylight. Original artwork has been discovered on the walls. 
• There is a small bedroom (which can also be converted into a home office

Lower ground floor

• There is a spacious cellar which is an ideal space for storing bikes, suitcases and wine.

Outside

• At the front of the property, there is a small terrace where you can sit out and enjoy a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.
• Below the terrace there is a larger seating area, where you can bring out a table and entertain guests.

4 bed cottage long term rentals South France - prices

Atelier Jean Aubignac can be rented on a monthly basis for 6-12 months. In addition to the monthly rent there is a provision of €250 towards the electricity, water, internet and communal taxes. Minimum stay is normally 6 months. Pets may be accepted through prior agreement.
