Outside: from the kitchen, you step out onto a large terrace with hardwood decking and a large terrace table and seating. The terrace is shaded by a lovely old tree and also contains bench seating with storage underneath. Next to the terrace there is a small outbuilding, which contains a toilet and a store room. The terrace leads onto the garden, which contains a large above ground swimming pool and a lawned area.

Last visited: May 2020. This lovely 3 bedroom house has been finished to a high standard and features lovely vintage tiling, modern bathrooms and beautiful terracotta tiled floors. There is a generous outdoor space, with a nice private terrace and a swimming pool. The internet speed in the village is very good, so this is the perfect rental for a couple who work remotely and require additional bedrooms for family and visitors. Gabian is a popular village which has a restaurant, wine bar, boulangerie and pharmacy. The neighbouring village of Roujan has a large supermarket and additional services.

This 3 bed restored house for long term rent in France is located in the quiet village of Gabian, which is surrounded by vineyards on all sides. In Gabian you can buy bread at the local bakery, do minor shopping at the grocery store or enjoy a refreshing drink in one of the village´s two bars. The slightly larger town of Roujan is a 5 minute car ride away. There you can shop at the Super-U supermarket and enjoy lunch or dinner in the restaurants. The artistic town of Pézenas is 15 minutes away by car and it is well-worth visiting, especially on a Friday evening during the summer, when a large food and wine festival is held on the main street. The Saturday market is also really special.
In Languedoc, there are many things to do. The larger towns of Beziers, Narbonne and Montpellier are in close proximity. The Canal du Midi is a great place for a picnic or a bike ride along the tow path. The surrounding area is full of vineyards and wine cellars, with great wine-tasting everywhere. Surrounding Gabian, you will find many excellent cycling and walking routes.

There is a daily bus service from Gabian to Pezenas. From Pezenas you can take connecting bus services to Montpellier, Beziers and the coast. The nearest train station is located at Bezeiers, where you can catch TGV services up to Paris or down to Barcelona in Spain.
