The apartment is located on the first floor of a village house. The apartment has its own private entrance.
- You arrive in the living room - a beautiful light space - with large windows looking out onto the terrace. The living room has a small sofa, 2 arm chairs and plenty of pot plants and greenery.
- The large well equipped kitchen comes with a dining table, washing machine, dishwasher, oven hob and fridge. The kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, plates, cutlery and plenty of storage space.
- The lovely double bedroom has a very pretty vintage French tiles floor, bedside tables and a wardrobe.
- Next to the bedroom there is a modern bathroom with walk-in shower, wash basin and toilet.
Outside
- There is a large private terrace with a patio table and sunloungers. There is a small storage room next to the terrace. The terrace overlooks the village Pétanque court. There is plenty of free parking next to the Pétanque court (with CCTV video surveillance).

Tourbes is a great village to be based in for a long term rental in South France. It is a very sociable village and it comes with a great range of services. The village is surrounded by vineyards and beautiful walks. The beautiful historic town of Pezenas is just down the road and the Mediterranean coast is just 25 mins drive. Tourbes is also very convenient for accessing the A75 motorway. The apartment provides comfortable accommodation and benefits from a large private terrace.

Area activities
This apartment for long term rentals is located in the centre of the wine-making village of Tourbes in South France. The village has a Patisserie, all purpose shop, chemist, post office, local bar and 2 excellent restaurants. The surrounding area is a wine lover´s paradise with a multitude of local vineyards providing some excellent wines.
Pezenas which is the nearest local town - only 5 mins in the car - is a medieval town, once home to the famous French playwright, Molière. The old town today is a maze of narrow lanes full of artisans selling their wares. Pezenas is a very popular town, with its period architecture and great choice of restaurants, pavement cafes, art galleries, museums, boutiques and a super Saturday market. .
The Canal du Midi, is listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESO and is just 15 minutes away. The canal is ideal for hiring barges, cycling or walking along the towpath.
Set in beautiful scenery 12 minutes towards Beziers is Saint-Thomas golf course which offers 18-holes for all levels throughout the year.
There is superb walking available in the Montagnes Noires, there is also Lac Salagou for wonderful freshwater lake swimming and water sports.
Close by are the cities of Beziers (15 mins), Montpellier (40 mins), Carcassonne (60mins) and Nimes (90mins). Further afield are Provence, Andorra and Barcelona.
Other transport
There is a TGV train station in Beziers. Regular bus services run between Beziers and Pezenas.
