Last visited September 2020. Long term rentals in France do not come much better than this lovely house in Sauvian. Located near the coast, sleeping up to 12 and coming with its own swimming pool, that has been fitted with a safety barrier. Whether house hunting or on a year out this property is ideal.
This beautiful Mediterranean villa is fully enclosed within a private walled garden behind entry gates and with plenty of secure off road parking in the drive.
Sauvian is located just 7km from the Mediterranean beaches. Beziers airport is located very close to this long term villa rental and Beziers TGV train station is just 8kms from the property. The city of Beziers is one of the most up and coming places to live in the South of France. The city is undergoing a lot of renovation, with major investmnts taking place in the infrstructure of the city. The centre of Beziers has a lovely Old Town with plenty of period mansion houses, good restaurants and lots of little shops.
The village of Sauvian has an excellent Maternelle school (kindergarten) and primary school. There are also good local colleges and Lycees in the surrounding area - all served by bus service. There are 4 Doctors in the village, a dentist and a post office. There is also a Bowling alley, cash point, 2 supermarkets, Pizza takeaways, good restaurants, a wine bar, newsagent, a butchers, 2 beauticians, florists and many associations and clubs (tennis club and gymnasium). Sauvian has a weekly market every Friday and there are a number of garages for car purchase, repair and petrol.
Sauvian is a nice village and a popular place to live. It has a good range of local services which means that you do not need to jump into your car every time you need a bottle of milk or a visit to the Dotor´s. Sauvian is a very friendly place, retaining a real village feel to it. Sauvian is close enough to the towns and beach to get there in under 10 minutes, but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet during the summer time.
There is a TGV train station in Beziers (8km), with regular services up to Paris and down to Barcelona.

Sauvian is located in betwen the city of Beziers and the coast. The A9 motorway runs very close to Sauvian, with an exit just 5 mins drive from the house.
We very much enjoyed our stay here, the swimming pool with provided equipment was marvelous and we all enjoyed a game of boules. Paintings in every room added considerably, the view of the garden, admittedly not the valleys, was sublime, I must say it is a pleasure to stay in such a grand house. The information was very useful, we made plans to go to the equestrian centre but unfortunately never got round to it. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your villa. The surrounding are truly divine.

My husband and I spent two fabulous weeks in the Villa with our three children - two girls aged 13 & four and boy aged seven. I can safely say we all had a wonderful time and certainly felt there was something in the villa for each of us throughout our holiday. When we first arrived we instantly fell in love with the villa and the garden, and the children immediately stripped off and dived in to the pool to cool off after the long journey. The pool, BBQ and ‘sunset bench` became the focal points of our holiday. One thing that instantly struck us was how quiet it is, the only things we could hear were the Cicadas, bird song and the occasional sneaky red sqirrel dropping a nut from the almond tree! Absolute bliss! Another thing that we were surprised by was that the villa, pool and garden are completely secluded and not overlooked in any way, this is a rarity these days and made us really feel like we could be on Necker Island! Also, when it was too hot for our four yr old to be out we retreated to living room and watched dvds on the the sofa for a couple of hours. Overall, a faultless, fantastic holiday! Thank you.

One month deposit to be paid at time of reservation (this will become the security deposit for your stay). Rent to be paid in advance on the first day of the month (for rentals of 3 months or less, the rent is to be paid in full prior to arrival). The utility bills are to be paid in addition to the monthly rent. There is a monthly provision of €300 towards the utility bills. References may be required. Minimum stay is normally 3 months.
