Château Lena is a sumptuous 8 bedroom chateau to rent in France with private grounds and a swimming pool. The Château was built in the 17th and 18th centuries and was originally a hunting lodge visited by Louis VI King of France.
The Chateau provides 7 hectares of grounds, with breathtaking views over the valleys and rivers of Lot and Garonne. There is a large salt water swimming pool, with sun terrace surrounding it.
The Chateau can be rented on a monthly basis throughout the year, with rates based on the season and duration of your stay. The Chateau is also available as a venue for weddings and events, please enquire about the rates.
Chateau Lena is laid out over 4 floors and provides 700 m² of living space (7,535 ft²). The impressive decor remains faithful to the 18th and 19th centuries, with luxurious silk wallpapers, moldings and paintings.
There is a beautiful 1000 m2 inner garden where you will find the spectacular swimming pool. A barbecue, hammock, dining furniture and pool loungers make this a perfect place to relax, hang out and enjoy the beautiful views of Chateau Lena.
Chateau Lena is rented out as a whole, guaranteeing ultimate exclusivity and privacy. A Private Chef and additional cleaning services can be provided upon request. In addition to the monthly rent, there is a provision of €500 per month towards the electricity, water, Wi-Fi and heating. The prices quoted are based on a 3 month stay during the period October to April. Higher prices will apply to rentals during the summer period and for shorter rental periods.

Château Lena is located in a beautiful part of south-west France, with the Dordogne to the north, the Cahors vineyards and Quercy National Park to the east and the forests and limestone plateau of the Lot-et-Garonne to the west. Major towns in the area include Bergerac to the north, Toulouse and Montauban to the south and Agen and Marmande to the west.
Nearby you have many sites to visit including the stunning hilltop town of Rocamadour, some beautiful castles and fortified towns (such as Chateau de Bonaguil and Chateau de Duras) and 2 of the prettiest villages in France: the hill-top village of Monflanquin and the 13th century village of Villereal, with its famous weekly market.
The nearby village of Tournon-d'Agenais has a cafe-restaurant, a small supermarket, epicerie, butcher, hairdresser and 2 boulangeries.
There is a TGV train station in the nearby towns of Montauban and Agen.
The nearest airports are located at Toulouse (90 mins) and Bergerac (90 mins)
Château Lena is located 35 mins to the A20 motorway (which runs from Paris down to Toulouse) and 40 mins to the A62 motorway (which connects Toulouse and Bordeaux).
One months deposit to be paid at time of reservation. The rental rate is to be paid prior to arrival (for reservations of 3 months of less). For longer rental periods, the rent can be paid in advance on the first day of each month. In addition to the monthly rent, there is a provision towards the utility bills, firewood and communal taxes. Minimum stay is usually 1 month. Prices will vary according to the duration of your stay and the season. Pets may be accepted through prior agreement.
