This ancient village is surrounded by mountains, vineyards and olive groves and is just 5km from Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, one of the most beautiful villages in France. Within walking distance you have 2 restaurants, 2 cafe-bars, a shop, butcher, boulangerie and other services. Montpeyroux is a very-friendly and open village.
The house comes with an extremely spacious open plan living room, 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, underfloor heating, air conditioning and parking for several cars. The house can be rented between September to June from €1850 per month + bills. Pets accepted through prior agreement.

The property is set on a quiet lane on the edge of the village. You enter through electric gates to the large driveway. The property is laid out over 2 floors and comprises 180m2 of living space.Ground floor
- The entrance hall provides access to a bedroom, guest toilet, and a corridor down to 3 further bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- The spacious living room is over 80m2 and comes with 2 sitting areas and a dining area. The views out from the picture windows are fabulous. The living room has underfloor heating and a large wood burner.
- The kitchen is equipped with an oven, hob, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, microwave and coffee machine.
- Bedroom 1 is fitted with bunk beds.
- Bedroom 2 is a double bedroom with fitted wardrobes.
- Bedroom 3 is a twin bedroom
- Bedroom 4 is a very spacious room with twin beds and a snug for watching TV or gaming. This room is ideal for children.

The house is set on a very large plot of 2000 m2, with vineyards stretching out in front of the house and mature pine trees in the garden.
- The swimming pool is 7m x 4m and comes with a retractable cover which enables you to swim from April well into November. Surrounding the pool there is a large sun terrace, with sun loungers, barbeque and a table and chairs. The terrace gets sun for most of the day.
- At the side of the house, there is another large terrace, which overlooks the garden.
- There is parking for 4-5 cars on the driveway. The driveway has electric gates.

This is a very spacious pet friendly rentals property in a charming wine-making village close to Montpellier. The property benefits from plenty of parking and a large garden and will ideally suit a family with frequent guests. The house provides easy access to the dual carriageway which takes you to Montpellier in 20 mins. Equally, you can be out walking in the vineyards and hills within 2 mins. The village is very sociable and comes with a good range of local services.

The rental is for the entire property. Any shared facilities are listed in the property description. The prices quoted are based on a 6 month rental period. Higher prices may apply to rentals over the summer period and for shorter rentals. Utility bills and communal taxes are payable in addition to the rent.

Area activities
Montpeyroux is a thriving small village with a good wine making reputation. The vineyards still provide the central economic activity for the village. It has a primary school (secondary schools a short drive away), sports facilities shops and bars/restaurants.
In the beautiful central square of the village you will find the historic covered market with clock tower. Surrounding the market there are 2 restaurants, 2 bars, a small epicerie (local supermarket) and a newsagent. There is a further restaurant in the village, as well as a popular butcher´s and bakery.
Montpellier is easily accessible by public transport, or 20 minutes by car. The surrounding countryside is perfect for walking and cycling, there are rivers and lakes nearby. The Mediterranean beaches are a 35 minute drive away.
