The apartment also comes with a lovely upstairs summer lounge, located at the top of the original stone tower. The salon provides panoramic views over the rooftops of Pezenas towards the church.
Inside the apartment features a modern fully-equipped kitchen, spacious living room and good sized bedrooms. Available for long term rentals June 2022 from €700 per month + bills.

The apartment is located on the second floor of a beautiful stone town house. You approach the apartment via a curved stone staircase, which has remained unchanged for over 400 years.
- There is a large open plan living room with double height ceiling and stone fireplace.
- The kitchen comes with fitted cupboards, with space for an integrate oven and dishwasher. There is an induction hob. The kitchen is large enough to accommodate a dining table.
- The bathroom is fitted with a shower cubicle, toilet, wash basin and washing machine.
- There are 2 double bedrooms with space for bedside cabinets and a wardrobe.
Outside:
The apartment has use of a small round summer lounge located at the top of the original stone tower, which once formed part of this impressive town house. The top of the tower was dismantled just after the French Revolution, because it was seen as a symbol of the Bourgeoisie.
Long term rental prices
This apartment can be rented for up to 12 months. The monthly price of €700 is based on a 6 month stay. In addition to the rent, there is a monthly provision of €100 towards the electricity, water, internet and local taxes. Minimum stay is 3 months. A private parking place is available nearby for €20 per week/€50 per month.

This beautiful apartment provides comfortable accommodation for a couple or small family in the historic town of Pezenas in Southern France. Although right in the centre of Pezenas, the apartment is quiet and calm. The apartment is funished with a bathroom and fitted kitchen cupboards, but will require an oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washing machine to be installed. Bedroom and lounge furniture will also need to be provided by the tenant.

Area activities
The apartment is located just a few steps from Place Gambetta, the imposing central square in Pezenas. The local street, Rue Canabasserie was once the site of a local hemp factory, producing garments, ropes and soap for the town.
Pezenas is without doubt one of the prettiest towns in the South of France. The town is home to many artists and antiques dealers. There are many festivals and events which take place throughout the year and the Saturday market in the town is one of the largest markets in the area.
