Corneilhan is ideally located for exploring the Languedoc area. The Mediterranean coast is just 20 mins drive. This unfurnished property is also very handy for reaching Beziers airport (15 mins), Beziers TGV train station and the A9 and A75 motorways.

Ground floor

First floor
- The entrance to the first floor is actually located on the street behind the house.
- You step down into a good sized living room with fitted kitchen.
- The kitchen comes with fitted cupboards, an oven and induction hob. There is space for installing a fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The kitchen also has a large breakfast bar.
- There is space in the lounge area for a sofa and couple of armchairs, as well as a small dining table.
- There area set of patio doors at the end of the living room, which open out onto a Juliette balcony with views down onto the street.
Second floor
A set of stairs takes you up to the second floor, where you will find a double bedroom and en suite bathroom.
- The bedroom, has a small alcove which is ideal for a wardrobe (1 m wide x 70cm deep) and a larger alcove area which can be used as a home office or dressing area. The bedroom is large enough to accommodate a king size double bed.
- The bathroom comes with a bath (with overhead show), shower cubicle, toilet and wash basin.
The house has a fixed line telephone connection and TV aerial. Setting up an internet account is relatively straightforward. The house has electric radiators in all rooms, but you might be advised to buy an oil fired heater to provide more cost effective heating.
Outside
At the rear of the property there is a communal yard area where you can place a table and chairs.

Last visited: January 2022. This is a great property to rent if you are looking to move to France and you are on a budget. You will need your own furniture, as well as some white goods, but the rent is very competitively priced to reflect this. The fact that the house has a garage, is a real bonus. The garage can also be used for storing furniture or parking a small car. The property is perfect if you are on a house hunting trip.

Corneilhan is a medieval hilltop village surrounded by vineyards in the South of France. The nearest large town is Beziers, the capital of the Languedoc wine region, which is just 10 mins away. Corneilhan is still an active wine-making village, with a couple of wine caves in the village.
Corneihan is a very sociable village, with a popular local bar (Cafe du Midi), an excellent local butcher, local shop, primary school, hairdresser and beautician. Corneilhan also has a large library and multi-media centre.
Corneilhan has a population of around 1500 people.
