This newly developed 2 bedroom house for long term rentals, is located in the heart of the village, surrounded by beautiful stone buildings dating back 5-6 centuries. The house has been wonderfully crafted to make the most of its outdoor space. The house keeps on revealing surprises as you enter it and explore. From the fabulous views, to the lovely swimming pool, to the professional kitchen, to the peaceful lounge, to the spacious bedrooms, hidden terrace and then last of all the huge terrace garden and summer kitchen which must be the party location of Provence!!
You access the house down an ancient pathway, lined with old stone walls. The entrance gate leads into a small courtyard garden, which provides access to the lovely swimming pool (7m x 4m in size). The house wraps itself around the pool, with patio doors accessing out from both the kitchen and the lounge. On the two other sides of the pool a large stone wall provides privacy and protection from the wind.
On the ground floor of the house, you will find a large kitchen which is installed with professional standard equipment. The owner of the house is a celebrated chef and she designed the house with the kitchen firmly in her mind. The kitchen comes with a central island with marble work top and 6 chairs. There is a large American fridge-freezer, high spec range cooker with gas burners, a large kitchen pantry and plenty of cooking utensils. With views out onto the pool and plenty of seating for guests to keep you company, this really is a special place to create a fantastic meal. Next to the kitchen there is a dining table with seating for 6-8 guests. A doorway leads to a ´Butler´s Pantry´ with washing machine, tumble dryer, wine fridge, small freezer and sink.
The dining room leads onto the elegantly decorated lounge. This is fitted with a large sofa and two smaller sofas, a fireplace, wall-mounted television and air conditioning unit. A set of patio doors leads out from the lounge to the swimming pool. Also on the ground floor there is a guest toilet.
A set of stairs takes you up to the first floor. On the landing there is a small office space, with an overhead loft-space where grandchildren can sleep. To the left of the office there is a guest toilet.
The spacious master bedroom features a dressing room, high ceiling, large double bed and glorious views over the surrounding countryside. A set of patio doors give access out onto a private terrace, with seating and views over the swimming pool, village and hills beyond. The bedroom comes with an en suite bathroom with walk-in shower, wash basin and toilet. The second bedroom contains twin beds and an en suite bathroom, with shower, toilet and wash basin.
Outside: next to the pool on the ground floor there is a covered terrace and a small courtyard garden. On the upper floor, there is a large garden-terrace, which features an incredibly well equipped outside kitchen, with professional Pizza oven, gas barbecue, plancha, large paella pan dishwasher and sink. The long dining table is covered by a lovely gazebo with a vine trained along it. There are plenty of seating areas (enough for 20 guests) and there is a patio heater for the nightime. The terrace garden is very private and the exposed stone walls, atmospheric lighting and the mature tree creates a very peaceful and relaxing environment.
