The apartment is located on the second floor of the apartment building, which you can access via the large oak staircase. The apartment is light and airy and comes with Electric heating in all rooms.
- There is an open plan living room and dining area. The lounge features a sofa, armchair and TV. The dining table can seat 4 people
- There is a separate kitchen which comes with a cooker, large fridge-freezer, washing machine and plenty of storage.
- The main bedroom comes with a double bed, fitted wardrobes, an original fireplace and bedside cabinet. There are lovely views out over the town to the Limousin countryside beyond.
- Bedroom 2 has a single bed.
- The bathroom is fitted with a shower unit, wash basin and WC.

- Free parking is available outside the flat, but there are also two large free car parks close by. If arriving on foot, you can access the town using the local bus service from Limoges.

Higher prices may apply to shorter rental periods, especially over the summer months. In addition to the rent, there is a monthly provision of €175 towards the electricity, water and Wi-Fi. Minimum stay is normally 3 months. Pets may be considered, although as the apartment is on the second floor, it may not be the most suitable place for dogs.

If you are house-hunting around Limoges, then this apartment in Bourganeuf offers very cost-effective accommodation during your stay. The apartment is located on the main square in the town, with lovely views out over the medieval Chateau and Hotel de Ville. Bourganeuf is a very friendly and well-equipped small town. Within a few steps you can shops for your groceries, or watch life go by in one of the cafes on the square. The Limousin countryside around the town is very pretty, with endless possibilities for walks, cycling and horse riding.

The pretty medieval town of Bourganeuf was founded by the Knights Templar in the 12th Century. The town is located in the Creuse department of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. The town features picturesque streets and a lovely main square, which the apartment overlooks. Today the town has a good range of shops and services, including an a Carrefour and Aldi supermarket, several bakeries, petrol station, a butcher, a couple of restaurants and a popular cafe-bar. In the heart of the town, the round medieval tower, Tour de Zimzim, was built in the 15th Century to house the exiled son of the Sultan of the Ottoman Empire. Since this time, the tower has been used as a prison, most notably during World War II.
The Creuse department has a population of just 115,000 people, making it the second least populated area of France. The capital of the department is the town of Guéret, which has a population of just 12,955 people. So this is very much a quiet, rural backwater of France, where the focus is on agriculture, gastronomy and the unspoilt natural landscape. The countryside features lush green hills, forests, lakes and limestone plateaux. The Creuse has been successful in developing itself as a Green tourism destination since the late 1990s. The travel website www.Routard.com voted the Creuse among the 10 most zen destinations in France - defined as "natural environments conducive to relaxation and rejuvenation".
The Creuse enjoys a temperate climate with relatively warm & sunny summers (but not as hot as other parts of South France); mild springs and autumns; and cold, but sunny winters. The department is also regarded as having some of the cheapest property in the whole of France and has over recent years attracted an increasing number of house-buyers from Holland, Germany, Belgium and the UK.
