This beautiful 7 bedroom renovated farmhouse in the Gascony region of South-West France is available for long term rentals of up to 12 months. The house comes with a private swimming pool and is set within 3 acres of land with stunning views of the Pyrenees. Inside, the farmhouse has plenty of charm with original beams, fireplaces and exposed stone walls.
The farmhouse is totally private, with no near neighbours. But 10 mins away there is the small town of Boulogne-sur-Gesse, which provides a range of services, supermarkets, schools and shops. The city of Toulouse is just 70km away and nearby you will find the large towns of Tarbes, Pau and the famous pilgrimmage site of Lourdes.
Available for long term rentals from €1500 per month + bills. Pets may be accepted through prior agreement.

The farmhouse is laid out over 2 floors and provides 373 m² of living space. The house benefits from oil central heating, double-glazing and is fully insulated. There is Wi-Fi internet.
On the ground floor :
- The large living room (27m2) comes with a feature fireplace, hardwood floor and exposed beams. There is a comfortable sofa and armchairs.
- There is a further sitting room, which is equally large (28m2) and this also has sofas and armchairs.
- The spacious dining room (23m2) features a lovely exposed stone wall, hardwood floor and original beams. There is a dining table with seating for 8-10 people. \r\n
- The fully fitted kitchen (24m2), comes with a central island and the original fireplace, with wood burning stove. There is an oven, hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, kettle and toaster. There is plenty of storage space and a full set of plates, cutlery and glasses. There is a good range of cooking utensils.
- Next to the kitchen there is a small utility room with washing machine and storage.
- There is a downstairs shower room and WC.
- There is a self-contained gite, which can provide a further two bedrooms and bathroom.
First floor
There are 7 large bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a separate WC.
- The Master bedroom (37m2) comes with a dressing room and an en-suite bathroom.
- Bedrooms 2-7 vary in size from 12m2 to 25m2 and are a combination of double bedrooms and twin rooms.
- Bathroom 2 is a family bathroom with bath, overhead shower, wash basin and WC.
- Bathroom 3 is a shower room with shower cubicle, WC and wash basin.
Outside:
The farmhouse sits within 3 acres of land, comprising a front courtyard, a garden and a large meadow. The land is completely private, with no near neighbours.
- The private swimming pool is 12.5m x 5m. It is a salt water pool (with no harmful chemicals) and it can be heated. Surrounding the pool there is a large sun deck with stunning views of the Pyrenees.
- There are stone outbuildings (over 340m2) which currently house some stables, a workshop, parking and a mezzanine.
- There is a covered terrace with dining table and BBQ and a large deck area for sitting and sunbathing.
- The garden comes with a lawned areas, flowering shrubs and an orchard.
- The meadow can be used for grazing pasture for horses.

The farmhouse is very well-equipped, with everything you will need for a long stay in France. The deck and pool area provide stunning views of the Pyrenees mountains to the south. The nearby town of Boulogne-sur-Gesse provides a range of services and shops.

Boulogne-sur-Gesse is located in the Haute-Garonne department in South-West France, 70kms from Toulouse. The town was founded in 1286 and today has a population of around 1,600 people and provides a good range of local services including 2 supermarkets, a primary & secondary school, 2 butchers, 4 boulangeries, 5-6 restaurants, hairdressers, a medical centre and a vetinary clininc. A weekly market is held in the town every Wednesday. During the summer there are a range of festivals and there is also a small water park located on the banks of a small lake where you can hire pedalos and use the swiming pools and water slides.
This area of France is commonly referred to as Gascony - an area renowned for gentle rolling hills, warm sunshine and amazing gastronomy. This is a rural corner of France, which provides a slower pace of life, away from the stresses and strains of modern city living. Gascony is famous for its Armagnac brandy, rich duck dishes, charcuterie, foie gras paté and cèpe mushrooms.
You'll have the chance to discover some wonderful landscapes on foot, by bike or on horseback, including the Lac de la Gimone, the Save valley, the Archaeological Site of Montmaurin and the Cave of Aurignac, a prehistoric cave containing the remains of the early first human settlers in Europere.

There is a TGV train station at the town of Saint-Gaudens (35 mins), which has fast train services to Toulouse and connections to Paris.
Airports
Toulouse international airport is 1 hour away. Alternatively, Tarbes-Lourdes airport is a 1 hour drive.
Driving directions
Boulogne-sur-Gesse is located 1 hour south-west of Toulouse. The town is 25 mins north of the A64 motorway, which runs in between Toulouse and Biarritz/Bayonne. The town is located on the D632 main road, which provides quick access to Toulouse (1 hour).
