This lovely villa for long term rentals in Provence is located in the heart of the village of La Tour d'Aigues. This area of Provence is called the Luberon and it is one of the prettiest corners of Provence, full of vineyards, unspoilt medieval villages and fabulous views. The villa is laid out all on one level and comes with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large open plan living room and a well-equipped kitchen. The garden has a landscaped garden and private parking.
The villa is available for long term rentals for up to 12 months. The rental rates will depend on the season and the duration of your stay. Winter rentals start from €1350 per month + bills. 12 month rentals from €1850 per month + bills. Rentals over the summer period from €3000 per month + bills.

The villa is located on a large plot at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac close to the centre of the village. The villa is laid out on one level and is very private and secure. The villa comes with an efficient wood burning stove in the lounge, electric radiators in the bedrooms and 5G Wi-Fi.
- You enter the villa into the open plan living room, which contains the lounge and dining area. The lounge has 2 two-seater sofas, a TV and there is a modern wood burner (pellet stove). The dining table can seat 4 people.
- The kitchen is equipped with an oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, large fridge-freezer, kettle and coffee machine. The villa comes with a full set of plates, cutlery, plates, glasses and cooking utensils.
- There is a laundry closet in the entrance hall with washing machine, dryer, iron & ironing board.
- Bedroom 1 is an en-suite bedroom which is accessed off the living room. The bedroom comes with a large double bed and fitted wardrobes. The connecting bathroom has a stylish bath tub, shower, wash basin and WC.
- Bedroom 2 is also a double bedroom with a wardrobe and dressing table.

This villa in Provence can be rented for up to 12 months. The rental prices will vary according to the season and duration. In addition to the rent, there is a monthly provision of €300 towards the utility bills (electricity, water, Wi-Fi and local taxes).

If you are searching for a largely unspoilt Provence, then the countryside of the Luberon is the perfect place to find it. La Tour d'Aigues is a beautiful village with an old Renaissance Chateau in the centre. The village comes with a range of facilities, including a medical centre, grocery store, boulangeries, several restaurants, a cheese shop and even a Chocolatier! Although you are surrounded by vineyards and fabulous countryside, you are not totally cut off from the world, with the local town of Pertuis just down the road and the charming city of Aix-en-Provence just 30 mins away. Further afield, you can reach Avignon, Marseille and the beautiful coastal town of Cassis in under 50 mins.
Marseille airport is just 40 mins away and this has a range of international flights. You can also pick up the TGV train up to Paris from Aix-en-Provence.

The charming village of La Tour d'Aigues with its weekly market and its Renaissance castle is a great place to spend a few months in Provence. In the centre of the village, there is a beautiful Renaissance Chateau, which was ransacked and burned during the French Revolution. The façade remains and inside the walls the space is used as an open air auditorium. There are plenty of local services and places to visit. In the village there is a pharmacy and a medical centre with a complete set of health professionals. The village also has a small grocery store, a couple of boulangeries, a butcher's shop, cheese shop, a couple of small boutiques, 2-3 cafes/brasserie restaurants, a pizzeria, an olive oil producer, and even a chocolatier. In and around the village, there are a number of local wine producers that sell wine direct from the cellar. Some of the local vineyards (such as Domaine Les Perpetus and Château La Dorgonne) hold wine tasting and special events during the year.
The village holds a weekly market and in the neighbouring village of Pertuis, there is 2 large supermarket and further services.
Although this is a lovely rural area of Provence, you are not cut off from the outside World. The beautiful city of of Aix-en-Provence is just 30 mins drive. Here you will find a wealth of cultural activities, excellent restaurants and a fabulous range of shops. Aix holds many festivals and events throughout the year including its popular Christmas market, an Opera festival in the summer and a large Film and Photography festival held every autumn. Aix is also home to an international school, a University and a large Hospital complex.
Nearby to La Tour d'Aigues, you will find the magnificent Provençal villages of Ansouis, Grambois, Lourmarin. Excursions can also be made to Avignon, the hilltop village of Gordes, the Gorges du Verdon and the Calanques of Marseille.
There are plenty of local walks direct from the villa or you can tackle the peaks of the Luberon or Mont Sainte-Victoire close to Aix-en-Provence.
Other transport
Whilst you will cetrainly need a car for staying at the villa, there is a frequent bus service from the village of La Tour d'Aigues to Aix-en-Provence.
In the next town of Pertuis, there is a railway station, with services to Aix-en-Provence and Marseille.
There is a TGV train station just outside Aix-en-Provence with trains to Paris, Nice, Marseille, Lille and Brussels (Belgium).
Airports
The nearest airport is at Marseille (just 40 mins away). Nimes airport is 1 hour 20 mins and Nice airport is 2 hours 30 mins.
Driving directions
There is a fast dual carriageway (A51) nearby, which takes you down to the A8 motorway, that runs along the Cote d'Azur to Cannes, Nice, Monaco and the Italian border.
