Maison Victor is a beautiful 1 bed house for long term rentals, located in the heart of the historic town of Pezenas in the South of France. The house comes with a large terrace, fibre internet, en-suite bathroom and a sunny sitting room with home office.
Pezenas is one of the most attractive towns in Southern France, full of charming medieval streets and plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops. This is an ideal location to be besed for a long term rental, with the Mediterranean beaches just 20 mins away, the cosmopolitan city of Montpellier just 30 mins drive and 5 low cost airports all within a 1 hour drive.
The house is available for 12 month rentals from May 2025 from €750 per month + bills.

The house is located close to centre of Pezenas, one a quiet street. The house is laid out over 4 floors and provides 85m2 of living space. The house comes with fibre internet and is heated by efficient modern electric radiators.
Ground floor
- There is a small entrance lobby with space for hanging coats and storing shoes.
First floor
- The Master suite comes with King-size bed and large dressing room. The en-suite bathroom has a full-size bath, walk-in shower, WC and wash basin.
Second floor
- The open plan living room contains a lounge, kitchen and utility room. The room has high ceilings and vintage tiled floor. There are windows on 2 sides of the room, providing plenty of light.
- The lounge comes with a large L-shaped sofa, stylish coffee table and TV (with international channels, Netflix, etc).
- The kitchen features a breakfast bar with seating for 4 people. It is equipped with an electric oven, induction hob, a large fridge-freezer, toaster and kettle. The house has a full set of plates, cups, cutlery and cooking utensils. There is plenty of storage space.
- The utility room has a washing machine and WC.
Third floor
- There is a large sitting room which is very bright and airy. The room comes with exposed stone walls, original beams and teracotta tiled floor. There is a comfortable L-shaped sofa and armchair. There are 2 workstations in the sitting room. A set of French windows provide access out onto the roof terrace.
Outside
- There is a large roof terrace which features a corner sofa and table and chairs. The terrace is partly covered and there are plenty of pot plants. A small window provides views over the rooftops of Pezenas towards the 14th Century church.

Maison Victor is available for 12 month long term rentals from May 2025. The prices quoted are based on a 12 month rental period. Higher prices may apply to shorter rental periods. In addition to the monthly rent, there is a provision of €175 per month towards the utility bills (electricity, water and Wi-Fi). Minimum stay is 6 months.

Last visited : January 2025. This is a very comfortable house for a single person or couple to rent for up to 12 months in the heart of Pezenas. Pezenas is a great location for a long term rental in France, with a fabulous sunny climate and close to the Mediterranean coast. Inside, the house is very well equipped and furnished to a high standard, with original flooring and exposed stone walls and original beams.
Please note that the house is laid out over 4 floors and has a traditional circular staircase (with 54 steps in total from top to bottom). Some of the treads are uneven in places and the last step up to the top floor is a bigger step than the rest. As a result, the house is probably not suitable for people with reduced mobility.

Pezenas is a historic town with a population of about 8,000 people. It is in the heart of the Languedoc region of the South of France, a vast wine making area. The town has several bakeries and shops within easy walking distance of the house. There is a well stocked Carrefour supermarket for larger shopping expeditions. The Saturday market is nothing short of fabulous and a must for anyone who loves Mediterranean food.
Pezenas´s historical center, has many attractions. Here you find dozens of artisan craftsmen and tiny shops, restaurants, bars, cinema, public pool, theatre, festivals all along year, more than 40 antique shops, restaurants, bars . . . etc.
The Mediterranean sea is just 20 mins drive away and other local attractions include Abbaye de Valmagne, Etang de Thau (salty lake) with oysters production, Natural bird reserve, Canal du Midi, Beach resorts (Vias, Cap d`Agde), beaches, Beziers and Cap d`Agde golf courses, Sete (40 minuts) mediterrean port.
Other transport
There is a TGV train station in Beziers and Agde. Regular bus services run from Pezenas to both towns.
