Last visited January 2026. This Pezenas apartment for long term rentals is a great option if you are planning a long stay to South France. The apartment is in a perfect location, right in the heart of the town, yet away from all the noise. With regular bus routes to Montpellier, Beizers, Agde (for the TGV train) and the surrounding villages, it is perfectly possible to live in the apartment without needing a car. The apartment is ideal whether on a house hunting trip or on an extended holiday.

Pezenas is without doubt, one of the prettiest towns in the south of France. The medieval town centre is a real delight to walk around. Pezenas has an amazing Saturday market, which takes over the whole town. There is a good choice of restaurants, cafes and bars. During the summer, the town holds a weekly food & wine festival (the Estivale), where there are dozens of food stalls and wine growers all selling their wares. This is a great time to have dinner `al fresco` in the main streets of Pezenas seated at one of the long tables available, chatting to locals, watching the world go by, all accompanied by the great jazz band playing in the street.
Pezenas is situated 20km from the nearest Mediterranean beaches, with motorways, airports and TGV stations all within a short distance.
The cities of Beziers, Narbonne, Carcassonne and Montpellier are within easy reach and have a host of cultural, historic and artistic offerings. The area is the biggest wine growing region in France with hundreds of vineyards which gives an added dimension to a little `wine tasting`!
The nearby coastal towns and villages have wonderful fish restaurants and Bouzigues, Sete and Marseillan are all famous for the oysters, mussels and other shell fish farmed and served in the area.
