The Mediterranean beaches are just 20-25 mins away and the villa is also very handy for Beziers airport, the A75/A9 motorways and the TGV train station at Agde.
This 3 bed villa comes with a fully-equipped kitchen, a spacious living room, 2 bathrooms, private parking and a garden. The villa is located on a quiet residential street close to the centre of the village.
The villa is available for long term rentals of up to 12 months from €1200 per month + bills.

The villa provides 100m2 of living space and is laid out over 2 floors.
Ground floor:
- There is a spacious living room with French windows on both sides. The lounge comes with 2 comfortable leather sofas and an armchair. There is a TV, with access to internet TV channels.
- There is a dining table which can seat 4 people.
- The kitchen comes equipped with an oven, microwave, gas hob, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. There is plenty of storage space and the villa comes equipped with cooking utensils, plates, cutlery and glasses.
- There is a bathroom with Shower, WC and wash basin.
First floor:
- Bedroom 1 is a spacious room with a King-size double bed.
- Bedroom 2 comes with a double bed and bedside tables.
- Bedroom 3 is a double bedroom overlooking the garden.
- The family bathroom has a full bath, shower, wash basin and WC.
Outside:
- Surrounding the villa on 3 sides there is a garden of around 500 m2. The garden is mainly laid to lawn and has mature trees and Mediterranean plants.
- There is private parking for one car on the driveway, with additional free parking on the street.
- There is a garage for storage.

The villa is available for long term rentals of up to 12 months. In addition to the rent, there is a monthly provision of €250 towards the electricity, water, Wi-Fi and local taxes. Minimum stay is normally 6 months, although 12 month rental periods preferred. Pets may be accepted through prior agreement.

Villa Lumineuse long term rentals South France - Our Opinion
Last visited: November 2025. This villa is a great choice if you want to be based in the South of France for 12 months or more. The villa is easy walking distance to the centre of the village, where you will find a pharmacy, boulangerie, bar-restaurant, hairdresser and butcher. The village holds a small market twice a week. During the summer, the village holds a 'Brasucade' every Friday evening, where you can buy moules et frites cooked on an open fire. Pezenas is just down the road and here you will find a good range of shops and supermarkets, an excellent market and dozens of restaurants and cafe-bars.

The medieval village of Alignan du Vent is located in the heart of the French wine country in Southern France. The village is surrounded by vineyards and the local wine co-operative is an easy stroll from the villa and here you can stock up on the local wines and delicacies. The village has a good range of local services including a butcher, boulangerie, bar-restaurant, pharmacy, hairdresser and a twice-weekly open market.
The nearby town of Pezenas is a beautiful town. It has over 70 historical buildings dating from the renaissance to the 18th century. Pezenas holds a market every Saturday morning which takes over the whole town. From mid-June through September it is the prefect venue for the festivals, concerts and art exhibitions.
On your way to the Mediterranean beaches, stop off at Agde. Founded by the Greeks, this bustling town overlooks the Herault River. It has its own harbour with lovely black basalt stone, good hotels and restaurant.
The Etang du Thau - 20km away - is one of the largest lagoons along the Mediterranean shore. Its fame lies with the oysters and mussels it produces. You can backtrack to Marseillan for an oyster lunch and to try their own aperitif, Noilly-Prat. Further up along the Etang is Meze, another fishing port and very popular destination for seafood.
Sete is France´s biggest Mediterranean fishing port. It is an attractive town laced with canals and many fish and seafood restaurants.
Other transport
There is a TGV train station at Agde and Beziers. A bus service runs from Pezenas to both towns. A local bus route connects Alignan du Vent to Pezenas.

Alignan du Vent is located 7km from Pezenas. The A75 motorway passes right past Pezenas. The motorway runs down from Paris to Beziers.
