Petit Soleil is a stylish and cosy one-bedroom apartment, set on the ground floor of a recently built Eco-house. Like the house above, the apartment has an A+++ energy rating and requires little heating to keep warm.
The open-plan living space combines the lounge, dining area and kitchen.
- The lounge features a comfortable three-seater sofa (which can also be used as a sofa bed) and an armchair. Sliding doors open directly onto the terrace, creating an easy indoor-outdoor feel.
- The well-equipped kitchen includes a four-ring induction hob, fan oven, compact dishwasher and under-counter fridge, along with cookware, utensils, plates and serving ware.
- A dining table with two chairs completes the space.
- The bedroom is located just off the living area and has a Queen-sized bed (160cm x 200cm) and has an open hanging wardrobe.
- The contemporary bathroom features a walk-in shower, wall-hung basin, WC and heated towel rail.

If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing base for a few months in the South of France, then this stunning rural property close to Félines-Minervois is an ideal choice. The Owners live near-by in case you need any assistance or local advice. The apartment is completely self-contained and private. The property is surrounded by some beautiful walks and you will never tire of the views from the terrace towards the snow-capped Pyrenees 80kms in the distance. The nearby village of Rieux-Minervois has a good range of shops, supermarkets and facilities (including a newly built swimming pool). A weekly street market in Olonzac is only 15 mins by car. Carcasonne and Narbonne can each be reached in 20-35 mins drive and the Mediterranean coast is 50 mins.
Due to the location, you will need a car.

The house is located on the edge of a small hamlet (Camplong) which is 5 mins from the village of Félines-Minervois. In the village of Felines-Minervois, there is a cafe-bar which serves meals and drinks, as well as a local store. The local area is called the Minervois and is celebrated throughout France as producing some of the best wines, especially from the vineyards close to La Livinière.
Close to the hamlet there is a small lake (Barrage de Camplong), perfect for wild swimming. The popular Cathar village of Minerve is close-by and this is listed as one of the most beautiful villages in France.
The city of Carcassonne is 20 mins drive and here you will find a good range of shops, restaurants and services, as well as a mainline train station. Carcassonne also has an international airport, with all year round flights to the UK and Ireland. The famous castle in Carcassonne, is the second most-visited historical monument in France.
The city of Narbonne is located close to the Mediterranean coast and is also a good place to visit for shopping or to eat at the famous Grand Buffet restaurant. The beaches around Narbonne are very nice, especially over the off season, when you normally have the beach to yourself.

There is a TGV train station in Narbonne and a mainline station in Carcassonne.

Driving directions
