Les Rêves is a beautiful stone cottage for long term rentals located in the Lot department of Southern France. This pet-friendly rental is set within a walled garden and comes with its own private gated terrace. The cottage has one double bedroom, a well equipped kitchen and a comfortable lounge with wood burner and air conditioning (reversible for heat).
The cottage is just 5 minutes from the stunning hilltop village of Saint-Cirque -Lapopie, which is officially listed as one of the 150 Most Beautiful villages in France.
Available for long term rentals of up to 6 months from €800 per month + bills.

The cottage is laid out over 2 floors and comes with a wood burner, air conditioning (reversible for heating) and Wi-Fi internet.
Ground floor
You enter into the open plan living room which contains the kitchen and lounge.
- The newly installed kitchen comes with a gas hob, oven, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and large fridge-freezer. The cottage is equipped with a set of plates, cutlery, glasses and cooking utensils.
- The lounge has a comfortable sofa, an armchair, TV and wood burner. A set of French windows leads out onto the terrace.
First floor
- The relaxing bedroom comes with a Queen-size double bed, a chest of drawers and hanging rail for clothes. The bedroom overlooks the private terrace, swimming pool and the river. The bedroom has an air conditioning unit.
- Next to the bedroom there is the shower room and toilet.
Outside
- The cottage has its own private terrace (20m2), which is gated.
- A set of stone steps lead down to the garden, allotment and the swimming pool (open May to September). The cottage comes with lovely views over the Lot river valley.
- There is parking for one car.

The cottage is available for long term rentals of up to 6 months (until May/June 2026). In addition to the rent, there is a monthly provision for €300 towards the electricity, water, Wi-Fi, firewood and local taxes. Minimum stay is usually 3 months. Pets may be accepted through prior agreement.

The cottage is well set-up for a long winter stay, with both a wood burner and reversible air conditioning. The cottage overlooks the River Lot and is surrounded by beautiful scenery. It is located in a very quiet and peaceful area, but is only 10 minutes walk to the local restaurant/bar and village shop. Surrounding the cottage, there are many lovely walks and cycling paths, as well as bird watching or enjoying the nature. With 7 different departments all reachable in under 90 mins, the cottage is an ideal base for house-hunting in South west France.
Given the location, you will need a car to get around. The cottage is located on a hill and there are stone steps in-between each of the three terraces. The property may therefore not be suitable for people with restricted mobility.

The cottage is located in the stunning ‘Causses de Quercy’ region of the Lot department in Southern France. The cottage is located on the edge of the small village of Cenevieres. In the village there is a restaurant/bar and a local village shop.
The cottage is just 5 minutes from the stunning hilltop village of Saint-Cirque -Lapopie, which is officially listed as one of the 150 Most Beautiful villages in France. Also nearby, is the small market town of Cajarc, which has many good restaurants, shops and an excellent weekly market.
The cottage is 15 minutes from local supermarkets in Limogne en Quercy or 40 mins to the larger towns of Cahors or Villefranche-de-Rouergue, which have a wider range of services. There are many local markets within a short distance drive including Cajarc, Limogne de Quercy and Tour de Faure.
The cottage is perfectly situated for house-hunting and for exploring a diverse range of areas and 7 local French departments:

- Dordogne is 1 hour (Perigueux),

Driving directions
The village of Cenevieres is located 90 mins north of Toulouse, in between the towns of Cahors (40 mins), Rodez (1 hour 15 mins) and Montauban (1 hour). The A20 motorway which connects Paris to Toulouse, can be accessed in 30 mins.
