The local scenery inspired the artist Paul Cézanne, who produced many paintings of the Provence countryside nearby.
The house comes with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large open plan kitchen-dining room, a comfortable living room and a fabulous roof terrace. The house comes with a fast internet connection (fibre connection 100+ Mbps - good for up to 6 devices). In the village you will find a good range of services including a very good restaurant, cafe, bakery and a small shop.

The interior of the house combines traditional Provence style with modern amenities. The house is heated with efficient electric radiators and there is air conditioning in the lounge and master bedroom.
First floor
A set of stairs leads up from the ground floor/street level.
- The kitchen retains some lovely period features including the original patterned tiles and a large chimney hood. The kitchen is fitted with an oven, gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine and a large fridge-freezer.
- There is a dining table in the kitchen which can seat 6 people.
- There is a renovated bathroom which contains a shower, wash basin and WC.
Second floor
- The master bedroom comes with a Queen sized bed and a large wardrobe. The bedroom has air conditioning.
- Bedroom 2 is fitted with a double bed and a single bed. This bedroom also comes with reversible air conditioning.
- The bathroom is fitted with a shower, wash basin and WC.
Third floor
- The lounge comes with a comfortable sofa (which folds out to form a double bed) and a flat screen TV (with many channels and apple box for streaming). There is also internet phone (VOIP) which permits free international calls to land lines. The living room comes with French windows which provide access out onto the terrace. There is also reversible air conditioning.
- The stairs between the third and second floor are steep, but there is a hand rail for support and anti-slip treads.
Outside
- There is a lovely terrace with views over the ancient rooftops of the village and towards the surrounding hills. The terrace is shared with the Owners (when they are visiting the house next door). They are happy to make suitable arrangements to ensure that both you have private access to the terrace at agreed times. The terrace comes with a patio table and chairs.
- Storage is available (for suitcases and bikes).
Long term rentals in Provence France - prices
This Provence house is available for long term rentals for between 3-12 months. In addition to the rent, there is a monthly provision of €250 towards the electricity, water, Wi-Fi and communal charges.
Long term rentals (October to March): from €1350 per month + bills
Long term rentals (April to June; September): from €1850 per month + bills
12 month rentals: from €1650 per month + bills
Higher prices will apply for rentals during July and August. The house is strictly non-smoking. Minimum stay is 3 months.

This comfortable house to rent in Puyloubier, is the ideal base for a long term rental in Provence, France. Puyloubier is a popular village and is just a few minutes drive to the centre of Aix-en-Provence. The village is located at the foot of Mont Sainte Victoire, a beautiful mountain immortalized in the paintings of Paul Cézanne.
The Owners' have a local English-speaking property manager, who can resolve any issues with the house and provide advice on places to visit and local services.

Area activities
Puyloubier is the perfect base to explore Provence and the Cote d'Azur. The Mediterranean beaches are less than an hour away, the bustling city of Marseille is 40 mins and beautiful town of Aix en Provence, is just 20 mins. In the village you will find a grocery store, post office, cafe, a very good restaurant, a bakery and an award-winning Cave Cooperative, selling wonderful and very inexpensive wines. Surrounding Puyloubier, you will find countless vineyards, hilltop villages and cycling routes.
The picturesque village of Puyloubier is nestled at the foot of Mont Sainte Victoire, one of the most picturesque mountains in France and immortalized in the paintings of Paul Cezanne. From the house, there is a trail up to the mountain.
Other transport
There is a TGV train station located just to the South of Aix-en-Provence. There is a regular bus service between Puyloubier and Aix-en-Provence, with tickets costing just €1.10 each way.

The nearest airport is located at Marseille (40 mins). There is also an airport in Avignon, with seasonal flights to the UK and Belgium. Other local airports include Nice, Nimes and Montpellier.
