The house was built in 2019 and features breathtaking views over the village of Payrac. Start you day listening to the birds and enjoying a morning sunrise and cup of local French coffee from the comfort of your cosy double bed. The house comes with an enormous garden and is situated in a quiet rural area just a few minutes from the village.

The house is newly built on 1.5 acres of land with magnificient views. The house is laid out over one floor.
- The living room has a comfortable sofa and a woodburning stove, perfect for the cosy nights in. There is a TV with Netflix streaming service.
- The brand new kitchen is equipped with microwave oven, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, oven and a complete set of kitchenware and dinnerware.
- The master bedroom comes with a double bed, dressing table and a large wardrobe.
- Bedroom 2 has a bunk bed with a double mattress at the bottom (which can accommodate 2 adults or children.
- Both bedrooms have electric radiators.
- The bathroom has a walk-in power shower, two sinks and mirrors and there is a separate toilet.
Outside
- The house comes with plenty of outdoor space and you can enjoy the unobstructed view of the rolling French hills.
- In the garden there is an above ground swimming pool (normally open from mid-May to September).

Last visited: September 2023. This is a great opportunity to rent a comfortable property is a beautiful part of rural France. Located close to the popular sites of Sarlat and Rocamadour, the house is perfectly situated for exploring this stunning part of France. Inside the house is modern and perfectly equipped for a rental over the winter period.

Or why not savour the local delicacies including truffle, duck and foie gras, or visit local wineries famed for Malbec. The Lot Valley and nearby Dordogne river are also perfect for family picnics, swimming, boat trips and walking/biking.
The house is just a short stroll to the beautiful village of Payrac, where you will find shops and some local pubs and restaurants. Payrac is perfectly located for visiting some of the France’s prettiest villages – Rocamadour, La Roque-Gageac, Saint-Cirque Lapopie, Beynac, Autoire, Domme, and of course, Sarlat.
The Lot department is located in the North-West of the Occitanie region. The Lot borders Dordogne to the North and is 1hour 30 mins north of Toulouse and 2 hours 30 mins East of Bordeaux.
This part of France is known as Quercy, which was an ancient French province up until the French revolution. The countryside is pretty spectacular, with deep gorges, stunning villages and pre-historic caves. The capital of the Lot is Cahors, a pretty town of about 20,000 people, built on a big bend of the River Lot.
The central part of the Lot department is taken up by the Regional Natural Park of the Causses de Quercy. This area of outstanding natural beauty, contains many deep caves (such as Gouffre de Padirac), gorges, rivers and a limestone plateau. It is also popular with astronomers and star-gazers on account of its incredibly clear night skies (the so-called Quercy Black Triangle).

There is a local train station in Gramat, with services to Brive-la-Gaillarde and Toulouse (via Capdenac).

The nearest airports are located at Bergerac (1 hour 50 mins) and Toulouse (2 hours 20 mins).
Driving directions
Payrac is located close to the A20 motorway, which runs down South from Paris through Limoges to Montauban and Toulouse.
