Maison Lavande is a spacious long term rentals property in South France with a private pool. The property is located on the edge of a quiet wine making village, close to the historic town of Pezenas.
The house comes with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and can sleep 8 guests comfortably. Outside, there is a private garden, a lovely sun terrace and a large roof terrace with views over the local vineyards. There is private parking for several cars.
The Mediterranean beaches are just 25 mins drive. Within the village there is a cafe-bar, shop and wine cellar selling local wines. Further restaurants and shops are located in the neighbouring villages of Roujan and Gabian.
Available for long term rentals between October to April from €1250 per month + bills. Minimum stay is 2 months. Not available May to September.

The accommodation is laid out over 2 floors
Ground floor
- You enter the house through the old wine caves which leads you to a laundry area with washer and dryer.
- Bedroom 3 comes with 2 single beds (which can be converted into a Super-King size bed). The bedroom has views to the garden and pool area and plenty of storage
- Bedroom 4 has a double bed with views to the garden and plenty of storage
- There is a family bathroom with shower, toilet & WC
- A games room/home office is fitted with a sofa bed. This room leads onto the cinema room with a projector
First floor
- The large open-plan living room features 2 large sofas laid out around a log burner. There is a dining table with seating for 8 people. A set of double patio doors leads out onto the large roof terrace with outdoor sofa set, BBQ & patio table.
- Fully equipped kitchen comes with an oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is also a kitchen table and patio doors lead out to an additional terrace.
- The master bedroom comes with a Super-King size bed, fitted wardrobes and access to the roof terrace.
- Bedroom 2 features twin beds and fitted wardrobes. The twin beds can be joined together to form a Super-King size bed. Patio doors lead out from the bedroom onto the roof terrace.
Outside
- The fabulous landscaped garden comes with a large 10m x 5m saltwater swimming pool. Surrounding the pool there is a large sun deck with sun beds and a beautiful old pool house.
- The garden also contains a lawn with a treehouse and further seating and relaxing areas.
- There is parking for 2/3 cars.
- The roof terrace off the living room contains an outdoor eating area with large patio table, a parasol and a gas barbecue. There are lovely views from the terrace.

Maison Lavande is available for monthly rentals between October and April. The prices quoted are based on a 6 month rental period, higher prices may apply to shorter rentals. The prices do not include the utility bills, there is a monthly provision of €300 towards the electricity, water and Internet. Minimum stay is 2 months. Not available during the summer period (May to September).

Last visited June 2022. A lovely big long term rentals property in South France, ideal for a family or a couple with frequent guests. With a private garden, Wi-Fi, Home Cinema, large roof terrace and set in a quiet location surrounded by vineyards, this is the ideal spot for a relaxing few months in the South of France.
This is a great location - ideal for visiting the beach and also touring the local vineyards. Pezenas is just down the road and is widely regarded as one of the prettiest towns in the South of France.

Area activities
Maison Lavande is located in the charming medieval village of Pouzolles in the South of France. Pouzolles is a wine making village with around 1,000 inhabitants in the Languedoc region of France. The village is surrounded by vineyards and is just 30 km from the Mediterranean beaches. Nearby, you will find the beautiful historic town of Pezenas and the bustling city of Beziers, known for its massive summer festival (the Feria).
The village is dominated by the impressive local Chateau and by the church, built at the site of the ramparts. Beyond the village, you can see the Black Mountains of the Haut Languedoc National Park.

There is a TGV train station in the nearby towns of Agde and Beziers.

One month's rent to be paid as a deposit at the time of reservation. This deposit will become your security deposit on the first day of rental. For rentals of 3 months or less, the full rental amount is to be paid before the start of the rental. For rentals in excess of 3 months, the rent is to be paid on the first day of each month. In addition to the rent, there is a monthly provision of €300 to be paid towards the electricity, water and WiFi costs.
Minimum stay is 2 months. Not available in High season (May to September).
