Montpeyroux is a popular wine-making village close to St-Guilhem-les-Desert, one of the most beautiful villages in France.
Within walking distance you have 3 restaurants, 2 cafe-bars, a shop, butcher, boulangerie and other services. Montpeyroux is a very-friendly and open village. This stunning renovated property comes with a courtyard garden, parking, and a beautiful lounge with a vaulted stone ceiling. This stone cottage is available to rent from €750 pcm + bills. The property will accept pets through prior agreement.

This cottage is located on a quiet street on the edge of the village. It was a former barn which housed horses and cattle. There is a parking space on the quiet lane in front of the property. You enter the property into the hallway which leads to the bathroom and also provides access to the kitchen.
- The kitchen is installed with a new electric oven, hob, large fridge-freezer, kettle, toaster and a range of cooking utensils.
- There is a round dining table, wardrobe and fitted shelves.
- Next to the kitchen there is a double bedroom and a small sitting room.
- The bathroom is fitted with a bath, overhead shower, wash basin and toilet.
- Next to the bathroom there is a closet containing the washing machine and storage shelves.
Lower ground floor
Steps lead down to the beautiful living room which runs the full length of the house and contains large windows at either end.
- The living room features a vaulted ceiling and comes with large sofa and easy chairs. The Owner will be installing a reversible air conditioning system into the living room during Autumn 2020.
- A set of steps lead up to a set of patio doors which provide access out into the courtyard.
Outside: at the front of the property there is a seating area and garden featuring an olive tree, bamboo plants and mature trees providing plenty of shade. At the rear of the property there is a lovely quiet courtyard garden, with flag-stone floor and bamboo plants. The courtyard comes with a table and chairs and a couple of sun loungers

Last visited: Sept 2020. This is a comfortable pet friendly rentals property in a charming wine-making village close to Montpellier. The property benefits from parking and a nice courtyard garden. The house provides easy access to the dual carriageway which takes you to Montpellier in 15 mins. Equally, you can be out walking in the vineyards and hills within 2 mins. The village is very sociable and comes with a good range of local services.

Montpeyroux is a thriving small village with a good wine making reputation. The vineyards still provide the central economic activity for the village. It has a primary school (secondary schools a short drive away), sports facilities shops and bars/restaurants.
In the beautiful central square of the village you will find the historic covered market with clock tower. Surrounding the market there are 2 restaurants, 2 bars, a small epicerie (local supermarket) and a newsagent. There is a further restaurant in the village, as well as a popular butcher´s and bakery.
Montpellier is easily accessible by public transport, or 15-20 minutes by car. The surrounding countryside is perfect for walking and cycling, there are rivers and lakes nearby. The Mediterranean beaches are a 35 minute drive away.
