This lovely 2 bed house to rent is located in the centre of the small town of Vias, just 2km from the Mediterranean coast. The house comes with 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a roof terrace. The house is surrounded by shops, restaurants, supermarkets and is close to the weekly market. The beach at Vias Plage is just a short cycle ride away.
Beziers airport is just 2km away and the city of Beziers is just down the road and here you will find a TGV train station (with services to Paris and Barcelona) and the intersection of 2 motorways.
The house is available for long term rentals between October to April from €700 per month + bills.

The house is laid out over 3 floors.
Ground floor
- At street level the front door opens into a small hallway with stairs up to the first floor.
First floor
The stairs lead to a hallway which provides access to the bedroom and the kitchen
- Bedroom 1 comes with a double bed and an adjoining bathroom with shower, wash basin and WC.
- The spacious kitchen-diner is very well equipped.
Second floor
- Bedroom 2 also comes with a double bed.
- The living room is fitted with a large settee (which folds out to become a double bed). The living room provides access to the roof terrace.
- There is a bathroom with a shower, WC, wash basin and washing machine.
Outside
- There is a small roof terrace with views over the rooftops to the Church and the indoor market. The terrace comes with a couple of easy chairs and a small table.

With lots of restaurants, shops and the beach on your doorstep, this house in Vias is a great place to be based to enjoy some winter sun in South France. Vias is a very handy location, with Beziers airport just 2km away and the TGV train station in Beziers a short bus ride away.
The house is laid out over 3 floors and there are lots of steps up between each floor (so you will need to be reasonably fit).

Area activities
The coastal town of Vias has a population of around 6,000 people. The nearby resort of Vias Plage is a popular holiday destination for French, Dutch and German tourists. There are a number of campsites in the resort, which in recent years have been upgraded to 4 and 5 stars.
There is a weekly market held in Vias every Saturday morning, as well as a Farmer's market and Night market held during the summer months. The town also has 3 supermarkets, 4 restaurants (including the lovely Vieux Logis) and plenty of shops and services. There is even a theatre and a cinema complex just 4km away.
The nearby city of Beziers is now officially recognised as the oldest town in France. There is so much to do in Beziers, from strolling along the beautiful alleyways of the Old Town and shopping in the small shops or visiting one of the many restaurants, go to the theatre or visit Friday´s flower market or Saturday´s antique market. During the summer, the city is buzzing with activities with various festivals and music events.
Beziers, is the capital of the World´s largest wine regions and most of the local wineries are open to visitors and you can try their wines. A tour of the region´s villages is also recommended.
The nearby resort of Cap Agde has the Mediterranean´s largest marina and there is plenty of activities from water sports to amusement parks and an excellent golf course.
Other transport
During the summer months, a shuttle bus runs in between Vias and Vias Plage. There are regular bus services to Beziers airport and Beziers.
The TGV train station in Beziers has fast train services to Paris, Marseille, Toulouse, Bordeaux and Barcelona.
Airports
Beziers airport is literally down the road (2km). It has regular flights to UK, Brussels and Paris.
