La Place is a 4 bed beautiful townhouse in the centre of the wine-making village of Peret, located close to Montpellier and Beziers in the Languedoc region of South France. The charming market towns of Pezenas and Clermont l'Herault are nearby and the local countryside features endless vineyards and hills. The house is laid out over 4 floors and comes with a large covered terrace with views of the village church. The house dates back at least 300 years and the circular stone staircase may well date back even further.
The house is available for long term rentals between October to April from €1,000 per month + bills.

The house is located on the central square in the heart of the village. The house is laid out over 4 floors.
Buy wonderful fresh food from the market and prepare it in the well-equipped kitchen. Sun yourself on the terrace, enjoy your wine as the sun goes down. And get great bread, croissants and sausages from the epicerie next door.
The space
There are plenty of places to go in the house. There's a kitchen/living room downstairs, another sitting room with TV on the next floor up. There are 4 bedrooms, 2 with single beds. Then on the top floor there's another room very quiet and ideal for writing that book!

You'll be able to use all of the house, and there's plenty of room for everyone.
Other things to note
You can use the car park in front of the house for a maximum of two hours. The main car park is a short walk away accessed from rue Jean Mermoz. . The shop is open 7am -12, then 5pm - 7pm, 7am -12noon Sundays.

This is a very comfortable old house, right on the square of the village. The village shop is next door, so you have the locals going past all the time and its fun to immerse yourself in the French village life. A charming and comfortable 18th century house situated on the square of a little mediaeval village tucked away on a hillside, with glorious vistas of vineyards and natural beauty all around. Easy access to wineries, beaches, lakes, walking trails, markets.
