Chateau for rent in France long term - facilities

The Chateau is laid out over 3 floors and there is a small elevator and grand stone staircase connecting all the floors. The Château is also warm in winter with roaring log fires in the main reception rooms.

Ground floor

• The impressive entrance hall provides access to the dining hall, drawing room and the beautiful sweeping stone staircase. There is a guest toilet off the hall, as well as an elevator.
• The dining hall comes with a huge stone fireplace and a long dining table that can seat up to 16 people.
• Next to the dining hall there is the original 'old hall' of the Chateau, a place for festive banquets and muscial & theatre performance. One of the Grand pianos is situated in the hall.
• The large kitchen features an oak fitted kitchen with an extended copper hood over the stove, a lovely oak table and exposed beams. The kitchen is equipped with 2 dishwashers, 2 ovens, a gas hob, a microwave, large fridge and freezer and plenty of cooking utensils. The kitchen provides access out onto the terrace.
• Next to the kitchen there is a pantry, with a double sink and washing machine.
• The very large drawing room features a beatiful carved fireplace, large sofa and 2 armchairs.
• Next to the drawing room there is a music room featuring another grand piano. The room provides access out onto the terrace.

First floor

• There is a games room with sofas, armchairs and a TV.
• Bedroom 1 is the Master bedroom of the Chateau and it has an impressive four-poster double bed. There is a dressing room (with a single bed) and an en suite bathroom located in the turret tower, which has a bath, sink and WC.
• Bedroom 2 is a double bedroom with antique wardrobe, chest of drawers, table and chairs. The bedroom also has a dressing room (with 2 additional single beds) and an en suite bathroom with small bath, double wash basins and WC.
• Bedroom 3 comes with a lovely antique French double bed, large wardrobe and a small en suite bathroom (bath, sink and WC)
• Bedroom 4 is an impressive double bedroom with en suite bathroom (with small bath, sink and WC)
• Bedroom 5 is a single bedroom.
• Bedroom 6 is a small single bedroom with an en suite shower room (with wash basin and WC).

Second floor

• Bedroom 7 is a small single bedroom.
• Bedroom 8 is a doube bedroom with an en suite bathroom (containing a shower, wash basin and WC).
• Bedroom 9 is a small single bedroom.
• Bedroom 10 is a large room which contains a double bed, single bed and cot. There is an en suite bathroom located in the turret tower, which has a free-standing bath, sink and WC.
• There is an additional bathroom on this floor (for Bedroom 7 and 9) which has a shower, sink and WC.

Outside

• The Château has a large heated swimming pool (15m x 6m) with sun terrace with sun loungers.
• There is a terrace with pleasant views. The terrace comes with a large patio table and chairs and there is further garden furniture and a barbeque.
• There is a recently installed flood-lit hard tennis court.

Château for long term rent France - prices

Château de Lamostonie can be rented on a monthly basis between October to May. The normal minimum stay is 2 months and the rental price will depend on the duration of your stay and the season. The rental prices are purely for residential accommodation only. Additional charges may apply for hosting large events (such as weddings, corporate events, etc.). Pets may be accepted through prior agreement.
