The house is situated on a large plot with garden, swimming pool and large terrace. There is parking for several cars. The house is laid out on 2 floors.

Ground floor

• The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, electric hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and filter coffee machine. There are plenty of plates, crockery and glasses. It has 
• The lounge has two sofas and a chair, a large bookcase, a coffee table, a cupboard full of board games and blankets, a shoe rack and an internet enabled TV. There is also has a large open fireplace (firewood is stored in the cellar, accessed under the front door.
• The dining room has a large wooden table which comfortably seats 10 people. There is a large corner cupboard full of glasses and a built in cupboard where plates, bowls and BBQ equipment are stored.
• Bedroom 1 contains a Super King-sized double bed, a wardrobe, bedside cabinets and towel rail. There are two large windows with shutters.
• The downstairs bathroom has a toilet, shower, washbasin and towel rail.

First floor

• Bedroom 2 has a Super King-sized double bed, original wooden beams, a wardrobe, dressing table, bedside tables and towel rail.
• Bedroom 3 has two single beds which can be used separately or pushed together to form another Super King-sized bed. The bedroom comes with a built-in wardrobe and book case.
• Bedroom 4 is accessible via Bedroom 3. It has a single bed, cupboard and superb views down the valley.
• In the hallway there is a small workspace with a desk, monitor and chair.
• The upstairs bathroom is fitted with a WC, shower and washbasin.

Outside

• A large wooden terrace accessed from the dining room via patio doors. It has two tables, a Weber BBQ and sun parasol. It offers great views across the valley. The terrace is fenced in.
• Wooden steps lead down to the garden which is grassed and comes with a swimming pool (normally open June to September). The pool is surrounded by a security fence which must be kept closed at all times. The garden and pool offer exceptional views across the Brenne valley.
• Under the terrace in La Paillotte is a laundry room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, gardens games, extra sun loungers, dog bowls and children's high chair.

Burgundy house for long term rentals France - prices

La Paillotte is available for long term rentals between October to April. In addition to the rent, there is a monthly provision of €250 towards the electricity, water, Wi-Fi and local taxes. Firewood to be purchased separately (to replace what has been used).

In addition to La Paillote, there is a smaller house which can also be rented in conjunction with the main house (to provide total accommodation for 14 people). Please enquire about the price. The smaller property is never rented separately from the main house.
