This charming 2 bed house with a stunning roof terrace is located in the very heart of Avignon’s historic centre, just a few steps from the Place des Corps Saints and all the restaurants, shops and amenities. Avignon is the gateway to Provence and it provides easy access to some of the best that Provence has to offer, such as St Remy de Provence, L'Isle-sur-Sorgue, Gordes, Roussillon and Les Baux de Provence.
The house is furnished and is available for long term rentals from October to June from €950 per month + bills. Pets may be accepted through prior agreement.

The house is laid out over 4 floors and provides 85 m² of living space. The house is heated via electric radiators and air conditioning. There is Wi-Fi internet.
Ground floor:
- You enter into the long living room which has a lounge and dining area.
- The fully equipped kitchen has an oven, hob, extractor fan, large fridge-freezer, toaster, kettle and air fryer. The kitchen has plenty of cooking utensils and storage and there is a full set of plates, cutlery and glasses
First floor:
- There is a spacious bedroom (15 m²) which has a double bed, sofa and TV. This room can also be used as a second living room/spare bedroom. The room comes with reversible air conditioning (heating/cooling).
- There is a large bathroom with bathtub, overhead shower, wash basin and WC.
Second floor:
- The master bedroom (15 m²) comes with an en-suite bathroom and walk-in closet. The bedroom comes with reversible air conditioning (heating/cooling) + electric heating
- The bathroom has a walk-in shower, wash basin, WC and storage area.
- There is a home office (11 m²) which can also be used as a sitting room. The room has room, south-facing with lovely garden views.
Third floor:
- There is a Laundry area with washing machine and a small outdoor kitchen
- There is a beautiful rooftop terrace (14 m²), well-sheltered and fully south-facing. The terrace also overlooks gardens, creating a true sense of nature right in the city centre.

The house is very bright and airy and is perfect for a single person or couple seeking a comfortable home in the heart of Avignon.

Avignon is probably most famous on account of its history as the temporary home of the Pope and the Holy See. In 1303, the Vatican decided to move away from the anarchic violence of Rome to the peaceful pastures of Provence. Although the Papal state was only based in Avignon for 70 years, its legacy can still be seen on the beautiful streets of Avignon and the stunning Palais des Papes in the centre of the city.
Today Avignon is a charming city, with lots of bustling streets and squares. Avignon is the administrative and cultural capital of the Provence and Camargue regions. It is widely regarded as one of the most active and beautiful cities in France, thanks to its architectural heritage and its world famous theatre, dance and contemporary art festival. The Festival d'Avignon remains a major yearly event and is due to celebrate its 80th year in 2027.
Nearby to Avignon, you will find Chateauneuf-du-Pape, which was the site of the Popes' summer home during their stay in Avignon. Chateauneuf-du-Pape is today famous the world over for its high quality wines.
