The house comes with 3 good size bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a modern kitchen and private terrace with BBQ and outdoor seating. This house has been designed to suit guests with impaired mobility, with an external ramp and a ground floor bedroom with en-suite bathroom/wet-room suitable for wheelchair access.
The town house is available for long term rentals from €850 per month + bills.

The space
The house is in the grounds of a large old villa but has its own private entrance and secure terrace, BBQ and outdoor seating. Inside there is a modern kitchen and lounge with 3 en suite bedrooms sleeping 6 people.

Le Grange has a completely sperate entrance off the street, and is also fully wheelchair friendly, as my dad was using one when we renovated, so he has tested everything!
There is a small yard, with seating for 6 dining al fresco, and a ramp up to the main door.
The main door leads in to the large kitchen/sitting room, which have two en-suite bathrooms (wheelchair friendly one)
The stairs leads down to a very large en-suite third bedroom.

The house is available to rent for up to 12 months. In addition to the rent, there is a monthly provision of €200-€300 (depending on the season) to contribute towards the electricity, water, Wi-Fi and heating. The minimum stay is usually 3 months.

Townhouse for long term rent South France - Our Opinion
Last visited: July 2025. This house in Capestang is a gret option for a long term rent in South of France for 6 months or 12 months. The house has been renovated to a good standard and also provides wheel chair disabled access. Capestang has a good range of local facilities, shops, restaurants and services. The town is located on the famous Canal du Midi and their are beautiful walks through the vineyards in all directions from Capestang. The city of Beziers is just 15 mins down the road and the Mediterranean beaches are 25 mins.

Area activities
Capestang is a small town with a population of 3,500 people.
Beziers is a great area for a long term let. It is located close to the Mediterranean beaches, it has fantastic transport connections, great shops and over 2000 years of history to explore. Beziers has historically been the capital of the Languedoc wine industry and the local area is dominated by vineyards.
The region has some wonderful old towns to visit such as Carcassonne, Toulouse and Montpellier; and you are just around an hour's drive from Spain, so you can pop across the border. Further inland you will find the beautiful Haut Languedoc Regional Park, which offers plenty of forests, lakes, canyons, gorges and mountains to explore.
Other transport
There is a TGV train station in the centre of Beziers, with regular services to Paris, Barcelona, Toulouse and Marseille.

Capestang is located 15 kms west of Beziers and 25 kms from the Mediterranean coast. The A9 motorway can be acessed in 10 mins.
