Villa Magri is a charming 3 bed house for long term rentals located in a quaint village, close to Narbonne in South France. This former 19th Century wine cellar has been transformed into comfortable accommodation, where modern facilities combine with period features. The house comes with a large tree-lined garden, spacious living room and a private spa with Jacuzzi.
The house is available for long term rentals of up to 12 months from €1500 per month + bills. Pets may be accepted through prior agreement.

The prices quoted are based on a 12 month rental period. Higher prices may apply to shorter rentals (especially those over the summer period). Pets may be accepted through prior agreement. The local village has a small supermarket, 2 boulangeries, a bank, pharmacy, local bar and local shops & services, including a newsagent, insurance company and mechanic. The house is conveniently located close to Narbonne (which has a TGV train station with services to Paris and Barcelona) and provides easy access to 4 local airports.
Villa Magri is located close to Narbonne in the village of Cuxac d'Aude, which is in the Aude department. This is one of the sunniest areas in France. Cuxac-d’Aude, is a charming and welcoming village with all essential shops within walking distance — including a bakery, a delicatessen, and a SPAR grocery store with a butcher’s counter. During the time of the Crusades, the Knights Hospitaller built a chapel and refuge in Cuxac-d’Aude, which was named Magri Chapel (from which the house takes it's name).
During the Roman period, the nearby town of Narbonne was one of the most important ports in the Western Roman Empire, with the surrounding area area and villages occupied by retired soldiers. The Via Domitia, was a Roman road that once connected Narbonne to other important cities along the Mediterranean coast.
Narbonne has a population of 55,000 people and comes with a range of shops, restaurants and services. Narbonne has an impressive cathedral and Roman monuments. The indoor market in the centre of the town is a great place to stock up on food and also enjoy a meal. The coastline around Narbonne is one of the best windsurfing spots in the world and more recently, has also developed a number of kite surfing centres.
The Mediterranean beaches are just 30 mins, with the pick of the beaches being Narbonne Plage, Gruissan Plage and La Franqui. The beaches have wide-open expanses of sand..
Boat cruises along the Canal du Midi depart from Le Sommail (a charming village with many restaurants) or from Colombiers.
There is a regular bus service from Cuxac d'Aude to the centre of Narbonne. There is a TGV train station in Narbonne with services up to Paris and down to Perpignan and Barcelona.

Cuxac d'Aude is located 10 mins north of Narbonne. The village provides quick access to both the A9 and A61 motorways, as well as the Mediterranean coast.
