This large 5 bedroom villa for long term rentals is perfect for a long stay in Southern France over the winter period. This beautiful sunny villa is located in the pretty Southern France village of Neffies, near Pezenas and the Languedoc coast. The villa has a large swimming pool, together with a separate spa pool. There is a large garden with plenty of privacy, a spacious lounge, well-equipped kitchen and a games room.
This long term rentals villa is a pleasant 5 minute stroll into the village, where you will find an excellent restaurant, bar, wine cave, shop, tennis court and playground. The villa comes with secure parking, air conditioning (reversible), WiFi and UK satellite TV. The beaches are 30 mins away and nearby there is superb walking, cycling, riding, windsurfing, sailing, tennis and golf.

The villa is mainly laid out on one level, with 5 bedrooms on the ground floor. The villa comes with central heating/air-conditioning, WiFi and multiple patio windows providing access to the pool and garden.
The large entrance hall opens out onto the spacious L-Shaped living room, featuring a lounge, dining area and open plan kitchen.
- The lounge is fitted with comfortable sofas, TV with satellite channels and a coffee table. A set of patio doors lead out from the lounge to the garden.
- The dining area contains a large glass table which can seat 6-8 people. Patio doors lead out onto a covered terrace with patio table and chairs. The terrace overlooks the pool.
- The well-equipped kitchen comes with a professional standard double hob, oven, dishwasher, espresso machine and plenty of cooking utensils, plates and cutlery.
The villa is ideally set up for a couple of families to share or for a multi-generational family group. To the right of the entrance hall you will find 2 double bedrooms.
- The Master bedroom comes with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom.
- Bedroom 2 is located next to a shower room (with shower cubicle, wash basin and toilet). There is also a guest toilet next to the shower room.
There are 3 further double bedrooms on the ground floor located in a separate wing of the villa, beyond the living room.
- Bedroom 3, 4 and 5 all come with double beds and views out of the garden and pool area. These bedrooms share a shower room and a separate toilet.
- There is a spacious games room (40m²) which features a dart board, table football, wall mounted flat screen TV with satellite channels and a bar. The games room is air conditioned.
Outside: the villa is located within a large plot (3111m²) which is located in a quiet residential area on the edge of the village. There is a large gravel drieway leading up to a double garage. The garden is beautifully landscaped and comes with a heated swimming pool (9m x 4m) with security cover and a Jacuzzi spa. Surrounding the pool there is a large sun terrace with plenty of sun beds. The garden also contains some shaded spots under 2 mature trees and on the covered terrace next to the living room. The terrace also features a brick built BBQ.

The villa is available for monthly rentals from October through to May (the villa is not available during the high season period). In addition to the monthly prices, there is a monthly provision of €425 towards the electricity, water, internet and communal taxes.

Last visited October 2020. A lovely big villa ideal for an extended stay in Southern France. With a private pool, air con, internet and set in a quiet location on the edge of the village, this is the ideal villa for long term rentals over the Autumn Winter and Spring period. Neffies is a great location - ideal for visiting the beach and also touring the local vineyards. There is one of the best restaurants in the area (Le Very´Table) located in the centre of the village.

Area activities
This Southern France villa for long term rentals is situated situated in the pretty village of Neffies. This is an excellent spot for visitors to explore this beautiful corner of France, with stunning scenary and excellent local vineyards - the Faugeres wine appelation produces some of the best wines in the area.
Neffies is located on the edge of the “Parc Naturel regional du Haute-Languedoc” and there are some beautiful drives, cycle routes and hiking trails nearby.
In the village there is a bakers, for your daily baguette and morning croissants, and there is a well-stocked provisions store, which has a meat and deli counter. A van visits once a week selling fresh seafood, including local oysters and mussels direct from the producers. The village also provides a post office, children’s play area and tennis courts. The family-friendly bar serves decent food at lunchtimes and evenings, with great views from their terrace. Alternatively, one of the best restaurants in the area is tucked behind Neffies’ Gothic church. The restaurant was praised in a Sunday Times article as being as “friendly and toothsome as you like”.
Less than fifteen minutes drive away is the ancient market town of Pezenas, with it`s atmospheric old quarter, artist’s studios, boutiques and wide variety of bars and restaurants. There is also a fabulous market on Saturday, and a cinema showing English language films. A thirty-five minute drive will take you to the Mediterranean coastal resorts where you’ll find long stretches of sandy beaches with safe, shallow waters for swimming, all kinds of water sports, and a lively buzz in the cafes and bars. Some of the many family attractions here include a Dinosaur Park (near Meze), an African Animal reserve (Sigean), Aqualand water park (Cap D’Agde) and the Aquarium at Montpellier.
Fresh water swimming can be enjoyed at a small lake ten minutes away at Vaillhan, at Lac du Salagou in the National park, or at the many river beaches, where you can also find canoeing and kayaking. Or, you could hire a bike and go cycling along the tow paths of the magnificent Canal du Midi.
Explore the bustling port of Sete, built on a confluence of canals, and watch the local spectacle of water jousting. Meander through the narrow cobbled streets of the regional capital, Montpellier, with its shady squares and exclusive boutiques. Or just simply relax by your own pool.
Other transport
There is a TGV train station located at Montpellier, Beziers and Agde. Local bus services run from each of these towns to Pezenas, with connecting bus routes to Roujan and Neffies.

This villa in Neffies, South France, has everything you could need for a relaxing family holiday. There is a large pool plus a separate spa pool, private garden, lots of parking and you can walk to restaurants, boulangerie and shop. Inside the villa is very spacious and comes with air conditioning, WiFi and satellite TV channels. The villa is ideally set up for 2-3 families staying together or one large family group
