The apartment is ideally located in a very safe & friendly neighbourhood, with lots of restaurants, shops and cafes within easy walking distance. The apartment is 10 mins walk to the TGV train station in Beziers.
Beziers is located 10 kms from the Mediterranean coast in the old Languedoc region of Southern France. The local countryside is surrounded by vineyards and Beziers was once the capital of the Languedoc wine region.

This apartment is located on the ground floor of an 18th Century town house. There is a communal entrance from the street and the apartment has its front door. The living room comprises the lounge and kitchen. The bathroom is located off the kitchen.
- The lounge has a sofa, which folds out to form a comfortable double bed. There is a flat screen TV, coffee table and a chest of drawers. There is a small hanging space by the front door. Wi-Fi is installed.
- The kitchen comes equipped with a sink, fridge and small 2 ring electric hob. There is also a microwave and Espresso coffee machine. The kitchen has plenty of storage cupboards and comes with plates, cutlery and glassess. The apartment does not have an oven..
- There is a raised dining table with 2 stools.
- The bathroom has a shower, wash basin, WC and heated towel rail.
Outside
The local neighbourhood has undergone a period of extensive renovation during the last 5 years and is now the most sought-after area of Beziers to live. Its central location means that you can walk to all the amenities and services in Beziers and it is easy to access local transport services. Just 2 minutes from the apartment there is a lovely park, with commanding views over the city and the countryside beyond. Next to the Cathedral, there is a newly-opened hotel located in the town's former prison. The hotel has a Bistro restaurant with panoramic views. There are numerous restaurants and bars within 2 mins walk of the apartment.

Last visited: November 2023. This is a well-maintained, cheap apartment to rent in the popular Cathedral district in the centre of Beziers, South France. The apartment would ideally suit a single person looking for accommodation for 3-6 months. It is easy to reach the local shops, restaurants, cafes and train station on foot or by bike.

Area activities
There is much to do in Beziers, strolling along the beautiful alleys of the Old Town and shopping in the small shops. Visit one of the many restaurants, go to the theater or visit Friday´s flower market or Saturday´s antique market. During the summer, the city is buzzing with activities with various festivals and music events.
The Mediterranean coast is a short drive or bus journey away and offers fantastic beaches, ranging from wild beaches in Serignan and Vendres to chic promenades in Grau d´Agde and Valras plage.
Beziers, is the capital of the World´s largest wine regions and most of the local wineries are open to visitors and you can try their wines. A tour of the region´s villages is also recommended.
Pezenas which is a fantastic little town with a rich cultural life inspired by Moliere, has a large market every Saturday and a food & wine festival every Friday night during July and August. Pezenas has over 60 antique shops and over 30 restaurants.
Agde is one of France´s oldest cities and lies at the river Herault´s outflow. The town has some nice restaurants and beautiful beaches. Cap Agde has the Mediterranean´s largest marina and there is plenty of activities from water sports to amusement parks and an excellent golf course.
Other transport
There is a fast TGV train from Paris direct to Beziers, that takes about 4 hours.
Airports
Beziers airport is very easy to get to, direct flights with Ryanair from Bristol, Edinburgh, London Luton, Stansted, Manchester and Stockholm (Skavsta).
Montpellier Airport is 35 kilometers away and has several routes to Sweden and Copenhagen with Norwegian Air and to the UK with Easyjet (Bristol, Gatwick and Luton).
Driving directions
Beziers is well connected to the local motorway network, with both the A75 and A9 motorways joining just west of the town.
