The farmhouse is built in the traditional 'longere' style, which is popular in this area of France. The house retains many original features such as exposed roof beams and comes with central heating and fibre internet.

Ground floor

• The lounge is a large space (5m x 9m) and comes with a log burner, comfortable seating for 8-10 people and a TV. 
• The lounge leads on to the dining room which has exposed beams and a corner bar. The dining table can seat up to 12 people.
• There is a full fitted kitchen which comes with an oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and fridge-freezer, Espresso coffee machine and kettle. The kitchen is equipped with a full range of crockery, cutlery and glasses, as well as high standard cooking utensils.
• Next to the kitchen there is a utility room with washing machine and a guest WC.  

First floor

• Bedroom 1 is a nice double bedroom with en suite bathroom. The bathroom has a full-size bath tub with overhead shower, wash basin and WC.
• Bedroom 2 is a good-sized double bedroom with a large antique wardrobe, 2 chest of drawers and bedside cabinets.
• Opposite Bedroom 2 there is a bathroom which comes with shower cubicle, wash basin and WC.  
• Bedroom 2 leads onto the sitting room/TV room which features a gallery overlooking the downstairs living room.
• Bedroom 3 is a twin bedroom and comes with an en suite shower room.

Outside:

• The main property is fully fenced and pet friendly.  There is an additional meadow and stream next door which also belongs to the house and mainly grassed.
• There is a covered eating area, plus patio directly outside the kitchen. The house also comes with a double garage, summer house and large workshop.  
• The salt water swimming pool is 5m x 10m salt water pool,

Pet-friendly long term rentals Charente-Maritime - prices

During 2026, the house is available for long term rentals from 1 May 2026 to April 2027. Thereafter, the house is available for long term rentals from October to April each year. In addition to the rent, there is a monthly provision of €350 towards the electricity, water, heating and Wi-Fi. Guests are also responsible for cutting the lawn and maintaining the garden (or this work can be carried out by a local gardener at an additional fee). Pets accepted through prior agreement. Minimum stay is normally 6 months. Please note, higher prices apply to rentals over the summer months
