Chez Christina is a beautiful 3 bed duplex apartment right in the heart of Frejus, a port town on the Cote d'Azur. The sandy Mediterranean beaches are just 5 mins away and the train station is just across the street. Frejus has an excellent range of shops, restaurants and services and makes an excellent base for a 12 month stay in South France.
This luxury apartment has been completely renovated and is furnished to a very high standard, with beautiful furniture, artwork and fittings. There are 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a lovely terrace
Chez Christina is available for long term rentals of up to 12 months from €1500 to €2500 per month + bills.
Frejus apartment for long term rent Cote d'Azur - facilities
The apartment is located on the second floor of a renovated 18th Century building. There is a communal staircase that leads up to the second floor. The apartment comes with air conditioning (both heating and cooling), Wi-Fi and good quality bed linen.
First floor
- The entrance hall provides access to the Master bedroom, a shower room and a guest WC and leads straight ahead to the kitchen. .
- The Master bedroom comes with a double bed, fitted wardrobes and air conditioning.
- The bathroom has a large walk-in shower and stylish wash basin.
- There is a a large drinks cabinet/cocktail bar, just by the entrance, with an accompanying bar table and stools. This provides a nice view of the terrace/inner courtyard.
- The stylish kitchen is fully equipped with a washing machine, dryer and high end kitchen fittings (Miele, Gaggenau, Sage etc). The equipment includes a sous-vide oven, wine cooler, large fridge and freezer). There is a variety of cooking utensils, as well as a full set of plates and cutlery. The kitchen has a stainless steel central island, as well as a dining table.
- The lounge features two designer armchairs and a large sofa. There is a large flat screen TV.
Second floor

- Bedroom 2 comes with a double bed, fitted wardrobes and air conditioning. There is a large Velux window with automatic black-out blind.
- Bedroom 3 is fitted with a double sofa bed and has windows which look down onto the terrace/inner courtyard. This room can be used as a home office, sitting room or spare bedroom.
- The second bathroom is fitted with a large wash basin, walk-in shower and WC.
Outside
- There is a terrace/inner courtyard, which can be accessed from the lounge and the kitchen on the first floor. There is a small table and chairs and this is a nice space to sit out during the evening or to enjoy a morning coffee. The terrace receives sunshine throughout the day.
- Garage access can be provided upon request (for rentals in excess of 6 months).
- Facilities to rent bikes, motos or cars are also in walking distance.

Chez Christina apartment can be rented for between 3-12 months. The rental rate varies according to the season and the duration of your stay. In addition to the rent, there is amonthly provision of €300 towards the electricity, water, Wi-Fi and communal taxes. The provision is based on 2 people staying at the apartment (the provision will increase if there are more guests staying permanently in the apartment, due to additional consumption).

Long term rentals (3 months, May to September): €2500 per month + bills
Long term rentals (3-6 months, October to April): €1500 per month + bills

Frejus apartment for long term rent Cote d'Azur - Our Opinion
Last visited: August 2024. This beautiful apartment provides comfortable accommodation on the French Riviera, for up to 12 months. The apartment is centrally located on the main shopping street in the old town of Frejus, just a short walk to the beach and close to all amenities. With the train station very close to the apartment and a good public transport network, there is no need to rent a car during your stay. There are dozens of restaurants, cafe-bars and shops within the local neighbourhood.

The rental is for the entire property. Any shared facilities are listed in the property description. The prices quoted are based on a 6 month rental period. Higher prices may apply to rentals over the summer period and for shorter rentals. Utility bills and communal taxes are payable in addition to the rent.

Area activities
Frejus is a famous old Roman port town, located on a beautiful section of the French Riviera, in between Cannes and Saint Tropez. This historic coastal town was first founded by Julius Caesar in 49 BC and today you can see many Roman ruins, including the large Roman amphitheatre.
Frejus is divided into 3 sections: the old town, Frejus plage and the modern suburbs. The pretty old town is home to various art galleries and a thriving art community. Chez Christina apartment is located on the edge of the old town, with plenty of local amenities (bakery, cheese shop (fromagerie), supermarket, restaurants, pharmacies, weekly farmers market Wed+Sat) on your doorstep.
Along with its neighbouring beach resort of Saint-Raphaël, Fréjus is a very laid-back and welcoming place. The beach is a 20 minute walk away or a 5-minute ride in the free shuttle bus that stops in 200m from the apartment. The beaches are very safe for children and the Esterel mountains form a dramatic backdrop.
St Tropez, St Maxime, St Raphael, Cannes, Nice and Avignon are easily accessible from Frejus by car, train or ferry.
Other transport
The local train station in Frejus is just opposite the apartment and provides regional trains services to Nice, Cannes, Marseille and Toulon.
There is a bus stop 200m away, where you can catch a range of bus services to Frejus and the beach.
Airports
The nearest airport is located at Nice (40 mins). Alternatively, Marseille airport is 1 hour 30 mins.
Driving directions
Frejus is located in between Cannes and St Tropez, on the D559 coastal road. The A8 motorway also passes closeby, providing fast access to other parts of Cote d'Azur and Provence.

For rentals of 3 months or less, the full rental amount is to be paid before the start of the rental. For rentals in excess of 3 months, the rent is to be paid on the first day of each month. In addition to the rent, there is a monthly provision of €300 to be paid towards the electricity, water, WiFi and communal taxes.
