Caylus is a charming medieval hilltop village located in the Bonnette valley, just 10 minutes from the larger towns of Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val and Caussade. The village dates back to around 1176 AD and was built around a castle. The village contains 4 listed historical monuments: the 14th Century church, the 15th Century covered market place, the 13th Century Maison des Loups and the Knights Templar Chapel. The surrounding area contains many historical castles, including Château de Cornusson, Château de Mondésir and Château de Cas
