The house was originally built in 1900 and is laid out over 2 floors. The house provides 130m2 of living space. The house comes with Wi-Fi, electric wall radiators and air conditioning (reversible for heating in the winter).

The house is situated with a small hamlet, with walking trails in all directions and some of the best cycling routes in the World (including the famous ascent up Mont Ventoux). The towns of Orange, Avignon and Carpentras are all within 20-40 mins drive and it is easy to reach all the sites of Provence, such as Gordes, Roussillon, L'Isle-sur-Sorgue and Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
A car will be essential in this location. Due to the low windows and suspended terrace, the house is not suited for younger children.
The house is located in a small hamlet close to the village of Gigondas in the Vaucluse department in Provence, France. Gigondas has a population of 430. The village has been a centre for wine growing since Roman times. There is a local hotel and restaurant just outside the village.

Gigondas is located 40km north east of Avignon and 25km east of Orange. The A7 motorway can be accessed in 20 mins.
