La Monastère is a spacious stone built property that provides 450m2 of living space, set over 2 floors.

Ground floor

The open-plan ground floor flows gracefully through stone archways, connecting a spacious sitting room, dining area, and newly fitted kitchen. 

• The wonderful old oak front door takes you into the reception area, where your eyes take in the ancient stone walls, exposed beams and beautiful antique furniture.
• The large lounge features two seating areas, one with the TV (UK satellite channels) DVD/CD and the other with sofas in front of the fireplace. There is a piano and guitar here for your use. A set of French windows open out onto the terrace and garden. 
• A stone archway takes you through to the formal dining room, a beautiful room with an antique table and furniture.
• Next to the dining room is the modern kitchen, which is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing-machine, American fridge / freezer, gas range oven, electric kettle and coffee machine.
• There is a guest bathroom on the ground floor.

First floor

On the first floor there are 4 en-suite bedrooms, all of which come with air conditioning.

• The Master bedroom comes with a King-size bed with en-suite bathroom (bath and shower). The bedroom has views of the garden, vineyards & courtyard.
• Bedroom 2 comes with a King-size bed with en-suite shower room. The bedroom has views over shaded terrace, garden and vineyards.
• Bedroom 3 can be set up either as a twin bedroom or with a super King-sizes bed. The bedroom has an en-suite shower room and comes with a view over the courtyard.
• Bedroom 4 is a twin bedroom (or a bedroom with super King-sized bed). Next to the bedroom there is a family bathroom with bath and shower. 

Outside 

Embrace outdoor living in the Mediterranean garden, complete with a large private pool and sun loungers. The Moroccan-style lounging area provides lots of cushioned seating, plus an old table for alfresco dining and relaxing. This is the perfect spot for barbecues, while offering spectacular sunset views over the Montagnes Noires.

There is enough parking for 4 to 6 cars. 

Languedoc country house for long term rent France - prices

Le Monastère can be rented on a monthly basis from mid-October to mid-May. The rental prices will depend on the length of your stay and the season. In addition to the rent, there is a monthly provision towards the utility bills (electricity, firewood, Wi-Fi and local taxes). Between November to February, the provision is €750 per month and €450 per month at other times. Pets may be accepted through the prior agreement of the Owner. Minimum stay is normally 2 months. The prices quoted are based ona 3 month stay (higher prices will apply for shorter stays).
