La Maison Mignonne is a cute 2 bed house for long term rentals, located in the quaint medieval village of Thezan-les-Beziers in South France. The house is situated on a quiet pedestrianised cul-de-sac in the centre of the village. The village is located just 20km from the Mediterranean coast and near to the cosmopolitan city of Beziers. The village is surrounded by vineyards and comes with a good range of local services (shops, supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, etc).
The house has recently been modernized and is laid out over 4 floors. It comes with 2 en-suite bedrooms, a large lounge and spacious kitchen-diner. The house is available for long term rentals from €650 per month + bills.

- There is a good-sized kitchen with dining table. The kitchen is fitted with an oven, hob, extractor fan, microwave, large fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and plenty of storage. There is a patio table and chairs which can be placed outside the house to enjoy a morning coffee, lunch or a glass of wine in the evening.
First floor
- There is a guest bedroom with double bed, en-suite shower room (with shower, WC and hand basin) and air conditioning. The bedroom has a chest of drawers and hanging rail. The upper floors are accessed via this bedroom

- The Master bedroom comes with a double bed and en-suite shower room (with shower, WC and hand basin). The bedroom has a chest of drawers and hanging rail. The bedroom is fitted with air conditioning.
Third floor
- There is a large lounge with a comfortable sofa, 2 armchairs, coffee table and a flat screen TV. The lounge has stunning views across the rooftops of the village towards the Black Mountains in the distance. The lounge comes with air conditioning.
- The lounge is spacious enough to put a desk to enable remote-working.
Outside
- The house is located on a quiet, pedestrian street which allows you to put a table and chairs outside to enjoy the sunshine and chat to your neighbours.

Last visited: July 2025. This cute little 2 bed house for long term rentals in Southern France is perfectly set-up for a long stay and is very well situated. It is just a 10 mins drive from the large town of Beziers (with its airport and TGV train station) and 25 mins to the Mediterranean coast. There is easy access to the local motorway network, which enables quick travel across the Languedoc region and to Provence and Northern Spain. The village of Thézan-les-Béziers has a good range of facilities and is surrounded by vineyards in all directions.

The Languedoc village of Thézan les Béziers is just five minutes cycle ride away (bicycles provided) mostly along a flat, country lane. Thezan les Beziers is a small village about 8km from the outskirts of Beziers. It is totally surrounded by vineyards and ideally placed for visitors to the region with mountains and stunning scenery 15kms to the north. Thézan has its own boulangerie, butcher and a small market on Thursday. In addition, there is a Super U supermarket, pharmacy, Gym and a couple of bars/restaurants.
The Mediterranean beaches are 25 minutes drive and there is also excellent river bathing just a cycle ride away.
Beziers (10kms) contains markets (including antiques), a tree lined centre with bars and restaurants, theatre and art galleries and excellent shops!
Parc Naturel du Haut Languedoc (15kms) features gorges, caves, walking, river swimming, whitewater rafting, cycling and fishing.
Carcassonne (100kms) is the largest fortified medieval town in Europe.
River Orb (3kms) for swimming, fishing or walking.
Other transport
There is a TGV train station in Beziers, with regular services to Paris (and Barcelona, Spain) as well as to other major cities in France. There is a local bus service between Thezan-les-Beziers and Beziers.
