La Baume is the perfect long term rentals property in South France with a private pool. This spacious property is located in the quiet countryside, close to the historic town of Pezenas. The property is located in a former vineyard which dates back to 1509.
The Mediterranean beaches are just 25 mins drive. Restaurants, cafes and shops are located in the neighbouring villages of Roujan and Alignan du Vent.
The property sleeps up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms and comes with 2 bathrooms. Outside, there is a private pool (6m x 4m), a lovely sun terrace with sunbeds and a table tennis table and an outdoor eating area with BBQ, overlooking the pool. There is private parking for several cars. Pets maybe accepted through prior agreement of the Owner

The accommodation is laid mainly on one floor.
Living space
- The kitchen comes equipped with a large fridge-freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, espresso machine and plenty of storage.
- Next to the kitchen there is a games room with a pool table.
- The enormous living room features a Cathedral ceiling, large dining table and a comfortable sofa and arm chairs. There is a large flat screen TV, as well as a projector which can screen movies and sports events onto the back wall.
Bedrooms & bathrooms
- Just off the games room, you will find Bedroom 1. This comes with a double bed, a large fitted wardrobe and has air conditioning.
- There is a modern bathroom which contains a large walk-in shower, sink unit and a cupboard which contains the washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a separate toilet.
- Bedroom 2 is a large double bedroom with an antique wardrobe. The large double bed (160cm x 200cm) can also be split into 2 single beds). The room comes with air conditioning.
- Next to bedroom 2 there is another bathroom, which contains a walk-in shower and sink unit. There is a separate toilet.
- Bedroom 3 is located up a small flight of stairs. It contains a double bed, storage space and comes with air conditioning. A set of patio doors open out onto a veranda, which has lovely views over the local vineyards and countryside.
Outside
- The swimming pool is 6m x 4m and comes with a security alarm.
- The patio around the pool features sunbeds, seating and a table tennis table. There is an outdoor eating area with large patio table, a parasol and a gas barbecue.

La Baume is available for monthly rentals between September and May. The prices do not include the utility bills, there is a monthly provision of €150 towards the electricity, water and Internet. Minimum stay is 3 months. Not available during the summer period (June to August).

Last visited June 2022. A lovely big long term rentals property in South France, ideal for a family or a couple with frequent guests. With a private pool, WiFi, air conditioning and set in a quiet location surrounded by vineyards, this is the ideal spot for a long winter break in the South of France.
This is a great location - ideal for visiting the beach and also touring the local vineyards. Pezenas is just down the road and is widely regarded as one of the prettiest towns in the South of France.

La Baume long term rental, South of France, is located close to the charming small town of Roujan, which is in the heart of Languedoc`s splendid wine growing region.
Domaine de la Baume was the local estate of a French Bourgeoise family for over 4 centuries. The original building dates back to 1515 and various additions have been made over the centuries.
There are a wealth of things to do and see within one hour of this villa: seaside beaches or mountain tours; walking or cycling in wooded hillsides; tennis courts in the village; wine tasting; local village festivals and markets; local castles, abbeys and monuments; the historic town of Pezenas - "Moliere`s town" - just 10 mins away with a fantastic market; ancient villages of Roquebrun and Olargues up in the Orb valley; St Guilhem le Desert, famous fortified hill village; Les Bouzigues fishing village on the Etang du Thau famous for its oysters and moules; the Canal du Midi; the famous citadel of Carcassonne . . . The list is endless.
Other transport
There are 2 TGV train stations nearby (in Agde and Beziers). Regular bus services (and taxi services) run between both towns and to Pezenas, with onward bus services to Roujan.

One month's rent to be paid as a deposit at the time of reservation. This deposit will become your security deposit on the first day of rental. For rentals of 3 months or less, the full rental amount is to be paid before the start of the rental. For rentals in excess of 3 months, the rent is to be paid on the first day of each month. In addition to the rent, there is a monthly provision of €150 to be paid towards the electricity, water and WiFi costs.
Minimum stay is 3 months. Not available in High season (June to August). Pets limited to one dog or 2 small dogs.
